Motorcyclist in hospital after 2-vehicle crash in SE Calgary

I read another account of what happened…… it appears the 30yr Subaru driver entered the motorcyclist ‘S lane although preparing to turn left, hence the bike hitting the car’s right side ….. if that’s the case , another driver who thinks he’s behind the wheel of a semi and can’t maintain lane….

"NEWS" Step 1. Show intersection. Step 2: show traffic light. Step 3: show speed limit. Step 4: blame the motorcyclist.

Let's ask the quiet part out loud. Could the Subaru driver be yet another "recent arrival" to Alberta, one of the major reasons behind the huge auto insurance rate hikes over the past few years? No thats not what happened, the suv was turning without checking to make sure the lane was clear and crossed into the motorcycle path, it was a knotty East Indian driver and his friends , they were not paying attention. I would not recommend driving a motorcycle in Calgary , too many East Indians not paying attention to the road, they are too busy trying to impress there friends and eat curry
