Agree... also natural resources need to be protected BUT Tthe federal government owns something like 70 percent of the land west of Colorado so technically its already under their custodianship... adding designations can be both a blessing and a curse through dc pithy or short sighted development among other things... the wilds should be managed responsibly and with great thoughtfulness... we all know thats not what you get in dc or any of the fed agencies MOST of the time...
