If leverkusen and atalanta meet 5 times still atalanta will won 1 time.
ОтветитьBefok
ОтветитьThis and Atalanta's first game vs Liverpool were two of the best defensive performances I've seen in a very long time.
Xabi got it all wrong though. From the back three, to not starting Andrich and ultimately for waiting until halftime to change things. Boniface should have entered the field way earlier.
man you are bonkers - I love it.
ОтветитьTheir luck was gonna eventually run out
Mark my word they won't even be in top 4 in league this season
Basically Gaspeirini played good ol' man marking the full game, asking their players to give it all physically.
Very efficient on this game thanks to Lookman, but nothing revolutinary or excting about this "tactic".
This is a classical 343 / 352 Italy made formation dating from the days of Helenio Herrera's 60s Catennacio and Grande Inter, you could find very similar modern variants in Conte's and Allegri's Juve, Inzaghi's Inter and Lazio, Mazzari's Napoli, Gasp's Atalanta and moreover Motta's last year Bologna, Just watch Serie A and you'll see how this pressure game is often played, and how much the center backs and keepers are involved in the build-up, and attackers are in defense (that's why we're seeing less and less classical strikers in Italy), when applied correctly this formation can outperform the best teams in europe, such as done by Atalanta here, or by Inter the year before against teams such as Bayern, Barça and Man City, Fiorentina also made good back to back runs in conf league thanks to a similar setup, it was experimented by Spaletti against France and they won 3-1 in Paris, although the latter and mancini play in a more classical 4-3-3 formation, which is why they have been struggling in last few years.
Ответитьone lossss, one loss and they lose it
ОтветитьMarco Rose: Hold my Jürgen
ОтветитьAtalanta was tough on leverkusen. It will also make leverkusen tough and learn their lesson
Ответитьall Italian teams are tactically superior
Ответитьhuh?thats common sense right?if you have 3cb, you better man mark them or press them tight (yea yea, the stamina issue etc etc)
but, with enough preparations, they can train it well
Author was born yesterday? Gasperini plays like that for years.
ОтветитьFootball science
ОтветитьPlease can you do a tactical analysis on PSG’s First game of the season
ОтветитьHe treid to do the same on real madrid, didnt end well as bellingham and valverde destroyed the opponents miedfield man marker
ОтветитьArsenal: Hold my beer.
ОтветитьYeah except West Ham should have beaten them, outplayed them tactically for the entire 90 minutes and only drew because of a deflection
Ответитьeh eh, the italian magician uncovered Alonso´s bluff
Ответитьgiving no space and constant press from the deep mid probably turned the match
ОтветитьAlonso fell for the same error that the German national team keeps falling for many years, replacing a strong striker for a more agile one. It's not really in the team's DNA.
ОтветитьI love how a team who won 51 games lost once and everyone said they're done for. You cant always win bro like it just doesn't work like that its so dumb
ОтветитьAMERICANS talking about football it’s hilarious. Keep talking about baseball and stfu. 😂
ОтветитьGasperini Found the new meta tactics
ОтветитьWhat people don't know is that Gasparini didn't sleep the night before. He was working on all possible tactics against Leverkusen. Even Atalanta was not this aggressive against Liverpool. But one thing I saw is that they were very patient in waiting for defensive mistakes to happen which they did.
ОтветитьA skillful player like.messi on leverkusen side would make this a goalfest for leverkusen..but unfortunately they didn't have any
ОтветитьWhy everyone forgets about Garabag?
ОтветитьTeams is good with ball ---> don't make them play, easy
ОтветитьThats why you meed Messi 😂
Ответитьi think they should have just let the keeper get involved in the attacking or/and dribble more. Am I entirely wrong?
Ответитьpls türkish
Ответитьgreat stuff
Ответитьto every genius there is an italian who laughs at him hahahha
ОтветитьYou are overthinking this. Atalanta won because Lookman had a fantastic day.
ОтветитьIn Italy we know Gasperini's tactics very well, the main component is his potions to make the player run for 90 min at maximum speed. This is the secret of Gasp the smallest man on earth
ОтветитьGasperini has experience. Something Alonso lacks.
ОтветитьLets be fair Leverkusen was unbeatbale because they had not face any quality side in those matches. And bayern was quiet uncertain in bundesliga.inter thrashed Atlanta 5-1 imagine if they face leverkusen it might be another 5-0 or even worse
ОтветитьI dont think that the tactics were the reason for this result. almost every leverkusen player was underperforming bad touches, inaccurate passes and bad defending
ОтветитьHonestly, I knew atalanta was going to win after the leverkusen roma match.
ОтветитьI think the starting eleven is not good. Play boniface. Italians teams are hard to break. They were physically strong as compared to other leagues.
ОтветитьGASPERINI said in 2012 that the future of football is man to man 90mins full pitch 10vs10
Ответить2nd season will be interesting…a lot of managers get sussed out and struggle in their 2nd season.
Ответитьso basically he just went back to good old man on man defense
ОтветитьIf he just gave them the ball everything will change
ОтветитьPLAY BONIFACE
ОтветитьGarabagh broke them twice, they just didn't have the stamina of their team. tactically Garabagh made them fall.
ОтветитьIMO the physical aspect was crucial in this final. Atalanta was 100%, Leverkusen not.
ОтветитьSerie A isn't for the weak, Seria A might be the only league where they have every kind of team with different playstyles
ОтветитьMan marking at it's best 🤝🫡
