Rogue Warrior is a 2009 first-person shooter video game developed by Rebellion Developments and published by Bethesda Softworks for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game was released on November 26, 2009 in Australia, November 27 in Europe and on December 1 in North America.
In Rogue Warrior, the United States has sent in Richard Marcinko, a veteran U.S. Navy SEAL, on a mission into North Korea to disrupt ballistic missile launchers. The plot is not based on the autobiography by the game's protagonist, Richard Marcinko. Marcinko is voiced by actor Mickey Rourke.
First announced in 2006, Rogue Warrior was originally being developed by Zombie Studios, and was set for a 2007 release. However, the game's release was delayed after Bethesda stated that they were not satisfied with the direction Zombie Studios was taking the game. Bethesda quickly scrapped the project and brought in Rebellion Development to develop an entire new game from scratch. Rebellion, while retaining some major elements from Zombie's rendition, has taken a whole new approach to the game and its focus.
Rogue Warrior was universally panned by critics, who cited it as one of the worst games of 2009 and of all time. Criticism of the game included its poor controls, multiple glitches, frequent foul language, rushed production, uninteresting gameplay, short length, very limited multiplayer and broken and exploited combat techniques.

You didn't even mention how cursed the slide on the Beretta is. It's clearly an M9 by the profile, but the slide isn't the minimalist barebones slide they usually have. It's like a standard pistol slide.

Nowhere near the worst game. I've beaten it. It was mediocre but it made me laugh. have seen and played worst. but yes this deserved a cancel to spare humanity. I'd say the worst games I ever played were made with the chrome engine. on console and PC. they steal my sanity every time. and gave me brain cancer.

It's weird how much this game was advertised on the Finnish version of MTV. It was on almost every single commercial break for weeks. I've never personally seen a single game advertised so much.
And what a piece of shit it turned out to be.

I've just looked up Marcinko, he was the first leader of Seal Team 6.
He died on Christmas day 2021.
This is actually a very realistic portrayal of Navy Seals. They are actually like this lmao.

Rogue Warrior is a game I remember very well. That game really had clunky ass controls and janky/unpolished/glitchy ass graphics. Also, the storyline and gameplay were so bad, too
Now that Microsoft owns Bethesda, maybe remake and remaster the game with either the Doom Eternal Engine (id Tech 7) or the current COD Engine (IW 9.0), and it will look and play better 😎.
