What Is Your Favourite German Beer? (Apologies For Being A Bit Pickled )

The first german neer that blew me away was the augustina edelstoff way before i done this stuff but like you the augustiner festbier last was unreal. There is no right answer coz as you say the standard is top notch.

I mentioned Schlenkerla Urbock being my favourite beer and I think they are my favourite brewery too.

I wish someone had filmed me when I had my first Urbock, the first time I had a smoked beer and I was BLOWN away!

After that I used to order direct from the brewery and picked up some gems, until they stopped sending to the UK when we left the EU.

I still have a few Vintage Eiche Doppelbocks. I have two 2014’s and two 2015’s. Just can’t being myself to drink them as I know I probably won’t get another one like them 😢
