The Communists were never nice to their own people.
ОтветитьIn vietnam the vietnam ese Army still havent forgiven the people who supported the Americans. They treat them like rubbish. After all them years.
ОтветитьLeave the Khamer Rouge alone. There might be Thunder and lightning. All they are doing is hunting the wild animals as food.
ОтветитьStill remember what my uncle told me about the war to this day. Yes, we first came to Cambodia to save our own asses from the threat of both China and its lackey’s aggressive actions, but after we saw what the Khmer Rouge did to its own people… we knew it was no longer an invasion… we had to save these people. So I don't care whether the youngsters of Cambodia think what we did was justified or not… we did what had to be done… it was our moral obligation that dictated what we did.
ОтветитьWhy is that historian at the three minute mark smiling and smirking through the whole interview? Wtf
Ответитьas Cambodian my granfather and grandmother survived the pol pot era and after I see this I felt sad after seeing this terrible massacre
ОтветитьI'm still too concerned about safety to visit Cambodia
ОтветитьThis is his story called history. Soon very soon the creator God will bring each and every ones reward with Him. O Jesus King of Kings.
ОтветитьThey seemed reasonable...
ОтветитьThis is one of the most horrific things
ОтветитьNice vlog ❤
ОтветитьPainful to watch. But they keep saying "never again!". All lies. Happening right now and IT WILL happen again.
ОтветитьThe KR attacked Vietnam and when the latter overthrew the genocidal regime of the former the USA & Britain backed the Khymer Rouge!
ОтветитьKiermer Rouge
ОтветитьBlame the jew Kissinger for propping up Pol Pot.
ОтветитьThe extermination center boggles my brain, how do you end up with so many evil phycopths in the same place at the same time? Did they breed them 😢 or just manipulate them so drastically that their minds just turned to darkness. Or was it like an addiction, getting some sort of sick and trusted dopamine hit from it
ОтветитьVietnam was so tired after the prolonged conflicts and war. but the Khmer Rouge with support from China invaded some islands, and killed the Vietnamese, so Vietnam had to fight back. that's the only choice when all diplomatic efforts did not work with The Khmer Rouge. A lot of Vietnamese soldiers laid down in Cambodia land! to support The Khmer Rouge, China also invaded Vietnam in 1979 killed a lot of people and captured some Vietnamese islands in the South China Sea in 1986. (we call the East Sea not the South China Sea). Who is the leading cause of the Khmer Rouge, and bloodshed conflicts in the region in recent decades, it is China with its greedy ambition.
ОтветитьThe best thing was they were more far - right and authoritarian than ‘Communist’ they hated Lenin and Karl Marx.
ОтветитьIm married into a cambodian family, and they blame Vietnam for the khmer rogue, as well as aiding them with fire arms. It's odd and sad that they can't see it any other way.
ОтветитьThe Mekong River does flow backwards every year.
ОтветитьWe our in hell
ОтветитьKhmer rouge: the real holocaust
ОтветитьAm Cambodian my grandpa was captured in the 1965
ОтветитьWe often ride former Khmer Rouge regions !
Killing fields are littered across the Kingdom !
Brutal history!
Beautiful people
Tên đồ tể
ОтветитьNoam Chomsky said it never happened.
ОтветитьNow they have Hun Sen, the fucking dictator
ОтветитьVery funny about the Mekong River, which actually does flow backwards every year.
ОтветитьPol Pot dying peacefully in his sleep was the ultimate travesty!
ОтветитьI can hear it now all the communist in the United States are saying “but that wasn’t real communism” ignoring the fact that communism equals mass murder. Hey commies, If almost communism killed millions, we don’t need to see the real thing.
ОтветитьReally annoys me that he “gave the guide the slip”. They asked you not to go. Typical westerner.
ОтветитьBut it did flow backwards huh
ОтветитьThis is just western propaganda.
ОтветитьThank you Vietnamese people.
ОтветитьWho here is a Muslim
Ответить
Ответить1500 prisoners vs 200 guards.
ОтветитьWhat a Beautiful Voice this man has on a very evil man Pol pot and hus henchmen. Sometime we like to blame other nations for originally helping these vile evil people and sometimes it is true.
But not these evil murderous excuses for human being. The blame here lies squarely and entirely with Pol Pot a educated man who knew precisely what he and his murdering henchmen were doing genocide.
Việt Nam Anh Hùng!
ОтветитьMany victims of the Khmer Rouge had fled to Vietnam or any neighboring country that "allowed it" during or near the end of their regime. I believe the ones that were still around at the end of it all were the lucky ones that the Khmer Rouge either agreed to keep alive or left alone.
ОтветитьThe historian Ben Kiernan has been widely criticised for his earlier work being very Pro Khmer Rouge. Like many left wing intellectuals, including those who had earlier admired Stalin and Mao, Kiernan only “changed sides” when it was all over and the evidence of the atrocities was overwhelming
ОтветитьMy uncle was an american soldier at the end of the Vietnam war. He was sent into Cambodia afterwards. It was hell on earth, people dying from no food and the dead everywhere.
Ответитьthank you so much for the people who risk their life investigate and documentary this dark side of our nation. i really appreciate it so much.
ОтветитьI remember in 79-80, i was in 6th grade, We had a small group of Cambodian kids arrive at our school. They were Refugees from this Genocide. Didn't know back then because i was a kid and didn't even know about this. I do remember they spoke little to No English. They were really good at Soccer though
ОтветитьNo one helped Cambodia at that time but Vietnam did with a high cost of Vietnamese soldier lives, however, it was sad that all of Vietnam effort was misinterpreted.
