RJ, Nicky Scarfo allegedly was offered the position of "Boss" of Philly when Bruno was killed. The NY Commission offered Scarfo the position, but he turned it down so Phil Testa could get it. This was according to Phil Leonetti. Maybe it isn't so unusual as you think for members to turn down the job of "Boss". This was an extra special podcast to listen too. I havnt even been around Mike and I can see why he was a captain. He navigates certain conversations like a pro. He remembers tiny details… you can see he’s breathing it in. He’s like a Doctor in his field. He thinks before he answers. Anyways I easily see it.
