Just want to let you know that walmart sometimes sells a product called "Bibigo Korean style mini wontons" in a 24oz bag. It's around $7 typically, when in store, BUT each serving is 13 mini wontons AND there is about 5 servings per bag. If you don't give the full serving because you are having the noodles or some other appropriate side, you can stretch it out to feed more people (maybe kids who typically eat less anyway than an adult)? Just thought I'd let you know, because that box of pot stickers was really small for its price! Love your videos!

That potato dish looks wonderful...definitely going to try that one. Love those potstickers...if you have an Aldi near you, sometimes they have them and they are super tasty and cheaper. They come in a larger bag. Walmart might also have something similar. My go to sides are those bagged ones or I tend to have the microwavable rice sides. I found a cheaper brand than Uncle Bens...I think they are about 1.50 at Walmart and we can squeak about 3-4 adult servings out of them. If you have littles, then it would be perfect. When my 3 kids were young, I planned my meals much like you do so it's refreshing to see that others do the same. (people thought I was nuts with my organization)

Ive seen you use both the Festive brand and the JennieO brand of ground turkey. Which do you prefer, taste-wise?

I do love recipes like these. Tastey, too the point, cheaper than fast food, and tastier. Just a few things technique wise (which im sure you know, no secrets among cooks :D Brown the onions, till light light golden. Then chop up one or two stalks of celery, a few minced carrots, and do everything just the same. And if you have freshlu cracked pepper, a little on top of each bowl. Lastly, indont dont know your weather, but in most environments rosemary and sage grow like weeds. Plant a few in your garden, and you'll have a lifetime of herbs.

I wonder if the potato bake would work good as like little croquettes with maybe an egg and or some cornstarch to help hold it together. I'm probably going to try the enchilada one for sure. My local Neighborhood Market always has some kind of pork on sale or clearance if you hit the right time of day and I bet that would go really well together.
Definitely important to grab the cheap meats when you can.

While watching this video I just noticed that you didn't peel your potatoes and I was just curious why you didn't peel them? Are there times that you would peel for a recipe? I have always peeled my potatoes (why I don't know). Just curious.

Hello Julia! I still haven't found the pot stickers at the store but I wanted to let you know that I did get to try them at the cheesecake factory as a late mother's day present from my one son and his fiance. Now I know what they taste like. Now I can't wait to make them myself someday

Even though the pot stickers and teriyaki noodles came out of a box, it shows us there are cheap ready made meals out there. I quite often buy pizzas for lunch and dinner, so I don't have to cook on my shopping day.

I just made the five-dollar goulash. I did use ground beef instead of ground turkey. Genius recipe for getting all the flavors in there. I also think it would be good with cheddar instead of mozzarella at the end, but mozzarella was delicious. I'm just one of those people who puts cheddar cheese in my spaghetti but I know that's not for everyone😊😊
