Meet Ting Yuen, co-owner of Art Rush Gallery in Nelson, BC

Ting Yuen, co-owner of Art Rush Gallery in Nelson, BC is a self-taught artist who has lived in five countries, and has traveled the world extensively. Her rich experiences are reflected in the colourful, whimsical and contemporary themes of her figurative acrylic paintings.

Ting paints with the belief that art has no rules. Pushing boundaries and creating her own ideas and styles, she allows her imagination and intuition to inspire the making of her witty stories, patterns, colours and shapes. Each of Ting's art pieces has a story and forms a part of an ever-evolving personal living diary.

Ting's limited edition canvas prints are produced via the Giclee method. (a "giclee" is an individually produced, high-resolution, high-colour-fidelity, long-lasting reproduction made on special eight-colour-ink printers.)

Ting and her partner, Paul Morel combine their artistic talents to create a variety of beautiful gift items such as greeting cards for every ocassion, ceramic art coasters, magnets, designer handbags, journals, gift boxes and gorgeous lacqered mirrors. Every item is imprinted with Ting's exquisite art.

In the "Express Yourself Jewelry Collection" you'll find gemstone jewellery designed by Paul and Ting as well as hand crafted hats, scarves and a mutitude of other accessories by Canadian and International designers. Art Rush Gallery also features some of Paul's wonderful wildlife photography.
