I read the books in elementary sweet

Anyone else wish they would've instead just made individual stories rather than some linked overarching theme with kids and a book? That being said the monsters look pretty spot on to what the book's drawings were. Hard to complain about that.

I read all 3 of them when I was a kid and til this day the only story that stood out was the little girl abandon and was got taken care by the wolves. aka the Wolf Girl. I wonder if they will include a story about that one.

My rating? D+ grade / 2 stars. Decent. = Great performances. Weak horror. Would work better as a television series. ☕

Boutta watch this today...nice gloomy and foggy day to match. Read the books back in elementary school and it always left me with the most uncomfortable feeling like I have right now being excited to watch the movie.

Oh and the “the book reads you” line....???? I’m still trying to understand what sense that makes. “You live the book” would’ve been a better line there

Have her be the sweet old lady that on every Halloween the town goes to see to listen to her stories, a fun small town tradition. Every Halloween when a kid turns 13 they all go to see her. And then you can do like American Horror stories, the cast is all part of each story but when we’re back in the framing device, someone’s always gone
