Waveform 13 | Clip Launcher Pt. 2 - Recording

So I just realized that when you try to record audio, you have to be able to click the stop button on time for it to stop recording (which is impossible if you're recording drums or guitar) otherwise the clip will end up being too long and you will have to edit it for it to loop properly. Isn't there a way to pre determine the lenght of the clip you're about to record in a given slot? Otherwise, it's just not possible to perform 'live' looping, because you have to edit everything you record.

So does the clip launcher thingy work like the main screen on FL studio where you arrange your recordings n stuff?

I want to try the new CLIP LAUNCHER but it doesn't appear in the waveform 13 demo!!! . How do you want me to buy something if you don't let me try it for 30 days? Very badly...

can you define the lenght of the clip before recording ???

Is Waveform still full of bugs ? I made a 1 bar long step clip with a kick note on each quarter note. When I looped the clip, sometimes, the notes were randomly muted, I checked the probability parameter : 100 % ??? I wanted to delete a midi clip on the arranger, no way, even with the delete menu after selecting the clip or backspace.

Just downloaded the pro demo and actually really like it, and it keeps the CPU really low compared to my other Daws.

Good day. If I record 4 bar midi into a slot and do not press stop before the end of the 4th bar it automatically ads a 5th bar which is understandable. How do I edit the clip to be 4 bars or how do I tell Waveform beforehand that the loop (or preferably the specific scene) needs to be 4 bars. I tried to set a 4 bar transport loop beforehand but then it does not play the one bar count in. Also tried to create an empty 4 bar midi clip and drag it into a slot beforehand but then it does not allow for recording since there is only a play button where the clips record button was. Is there another way to go about this?
