Ngl this whole list was pretty pathetic..
ОтветитьIf you have childhood "trauma" from a picture in a mario game, you need to work on your mental resilience. You can't experience trauma from a video game
ОтветитьThis is cringe. None of this is remotely disturbing. You have to be a 3 year old to find mario artwork to be "nightmare fuel"
ОтветитьThe endless stairs and the creepy under water town in wet and dry world
Ответить“This was likely most people’s first jump scare in a video game. Sure plenty of other games had jump scares, but never had we been jump scared in a Mario game”
Lol
The Do Not Research build isn't the spaceworld demo..its a supposed pre-spaceworld demo, thats discouraged from research due to the supposed flashing seizure inducing lights, and graphic, disturbing imagery, and a basement maze that supposedly caused a worker to pass out from exhaustion and dehydration trying to escape, because the maze is supposedly a test room for the Personalization AI
ОтветитьIm not even that big on SM64, barely have played it, and Ive had a couple nightmares about the game before
ОтветитьIf you climb the first tree in whomp fortress you will see an owl with you can fly with it and reach to the caged island and get the star
Ответитьi dunno if every kid in the us and eu was just.......you know a little whiney kid, or if i was just the most obnormal kid but for me the bowser laugh when entering the castle was just.....normal. i never gave it any though or found it creepy or whatnot i just thought oh okay in the box he laughs and i can hear him laugh okay nothing to it.
Ответитьit said L is real 2041 and Luigi was confirm 24 years 1 month after the release
ОтветитьRegarding Wet Dry World Negative Emotional Aura. I remember as a child I HATED going into that level...I always felt uneasy in there and avoided it when I could. Interesting to see that others had similar experiences.
ОтветитьShared nightmares? I once had a nightmare related to the game. I was in the Lethal Lava Land, and was trying to traverse the landscape without dying.
ОтветитьIt feels like the Nintendo Gigaleak was set for 24/01/2020
ОтветитьI have a Watch Netflix
ОтветитьWithout Mario and the music. This would legitimately be a terrifying game.
ОтветитьThe DS version of this game literally made my childhood. Still probably my favorite game to this day.
ОтветитьIf mario 64 gives you nightmares then you really are a wimps wimp the limpest of limp noodles no video game or movie disturbs me they are what they are video games and movies
ОтветитьSome of these 'theories' were thought of in the gifted class's free time
ОтветитьChildren after seeing the yoshi when you complete super Mario 64 👁️👄👁️ 💀💀💀💀💀
ОтветитьAlso another comment but that yoshi is creepy I love yoshi he my favorite character but cmon sm64 you made him look scary good thing I never completed sm64 or else I would’ve has nightmares
ОтветитьSilent hill b like:Nothing can top my psychological horror
Fucking goofy ahh mario games:Hold my beer
Villain's evil laugh is... le scary? NOOO HOW COULD THEY HAVE DONE THIS IN A KID'S GAME?! I'M GOING INSANEEEEEE!!
ОтветитьSeeing the eel swim out of the sunken ship was probably the first time I felt genuine terror as a kid
Ответитьthe mystery goomba is in BitS iirc, it spawns on the death plane for a single frame at the bottom of the map
ОтветитьThe Loch Ness monster is not just a plesiosaur it is God’s foremost harbinger of the depths of our vanity, and also a type of duck
ОтветитьSuper Mario 64 is an illuminist and Masonic initiation ritual
ОтветитьThe flame painting is just flames made to look like Bowser.
ОтветитьI think is AI personal games is a bit of a stretch I don't think the AI was advanced enough for the time to do something like that.
ОтветитьThe fire painting was honestly the only thing that scared me in this game as a kid. Everyone thinks it’s a distorted bowser face but I didn’t. I personally believe that creepy flame face is the FryGuy boss from SMB2 A Podoboo/Lava bubble or one of those fire things Bowser drops in Super Mario World but I mostly believe it’s Fry Guy. I play B3313 (Horror SM64 Rom Hack) once in a while and it sometimes gives me Nightmares about the flame painting. I really don’t know what they were thinking putting this traumatizing demon painting in a Children’s game. Like Nintendo could’ve put a picture of one of the bullies or the volcano Not an even creepier version of Satan!
ОтветитьPersonally I think the enemy in the lethal lava land paiting is those flame things with faces Bowser spits at mario during Super Mario Worlds last boss.
ОтветитьAll these creepypastas are like "Ooooh, the game was HaUnTeD and it showed me my dead family, and made me depressed and suicidal" bitch, whens a haunted game gonna show me Cute cat pictures, or make me laugh, or cum in my jorts? Huh?!
ОтветитьI have no recollection of a third slide area whatsoever. You've got the first slide when you jump through the colored glass window and the second slide in the ice world, I do not remember a third slide
ОтветитьNiggas just love to be scared of shit 😂
ОтветитьI dont know what it is about N64 graphics but they always give me that liminal space feeling
ОтветитьYou accidentally put a video in your ads
Ответитьhorrible video
ОтветитьI'm glad that someone also feels like Bowsers laugh at the begining was creepy at a young age. For me, it was extremely creepy as a kid.
ОтветитьI’ve had nightmares about Mario 64 occasionally. They weren’t that scary but I have had WAY more scary lucid nightmares that don’t involve Mario 64
ОтветитьThis is an absolutely INCREDIBLE piece... it really takes me back to that sort of that 90s haunting atmosphere
ОтветитьVysukan
ОтветитьI think that lethal lava land painting is an enemy called fry guy
ОтветитьTo sum up. Its all over analyzed
ОтветитьI'll never forget playing this game for the first time as a kid. I grew up with the NES and SNES, so a fully rendered 3D version of Mario and Zelda was incredible. I'd spend hours just exploring every nook and cranny of each world.
The N64 is still my favorite game console because of this.
so basically the whole game is a disturbing moment
ОтветитьIt was really surprising to me to learn people thought dorrie was scary; as a kid i always thought he was the one bright spot in an otherwise spooky level, the disturbing part to me is how somehow i've always known his name was dorrie, even though nothing in the game calls him that- he's only given a name in supplemental guidebooks and later mario games, neither of which i had back in the day.
