Season 1 was on a different level. Felt movie level. Season 2 was sooo slow and had the most annoying character interactions. Seasons 3-6 were really great but just never captured that real cinematic feel of the first season. Season 7-8 are skippable seasons. If they had to end it should’ve ended with season 6 being the end. Would’ve had to have major tweaks to the story but it would’ve ended on a high point. If Negan had to be introduced then season 8 should’ve been the end with Rick killing Negan and then alter the ending to have it be the series finale with the group and Alexandria rebuilding. 9-11 had some truly great moments but goddamn was it unnecessary

I’m watching TWD for the first time ever and I’m on S2 rn ep10 amd it’s been a good season so far. F Shane though, don’t see how ppl can defend him. Dude was a dirtbag, he had a great apocalypse mindset though, I would’ve left Sophia🤷🏾‍♂️

nah other than the ending being open ended i liked s11, i think the writing in it was fairly solid. a shame the viewer count slowly decreased over season 7. if anything the comics are absolute fire throughout the entire thing, highly recommend reading them if you like zombie media and/or TWD show, collected all four compendiums
