We have loans or we broker loans for Mexicans and foreigners throughout Mexico and throughout the market. We represent every lender that is lending to people in Mexico both for foreigners and Mexicans.

The terms are not going to be equal to what you get in the US and there is no way we can match those because the US federal government is still supporting the banking industry there and the Mexican government does not.

Actually our economy is stronger in many ways compared to the United States. So interest rates are a bit higher here and the down payments required are a bit higher as well. It is a more conservative mortgage market.

Loans are certainly available to foreigners wanting to buy property in Mexico and you couldn't ask for a better time to do it because prices have come down to such a great level. We believe we are at the bottom of our market because now prices are starting to climb back up.

If you do not have all cash to buy that property you want, you can use a mortgage to get into that property. You can use it as a bridge loan to secure your investment and then pay it off in a couple of years. It is a perfect time.
