Aerial Root Survival Hack (Preventing Root Rot During Winter)

A way to prevent root rot during winter, is to place your plant's aerial roots in water and avoid watering its substrate.

This method could help if you also forget to water your plants or if you want a foolproof way to propagate plants.

The thing is, if you choose to do this, it's not a good option long term. It will just save you some time until you repot the plant or start watering again in spring.
