iPhone 14 Pro Max OtterBox Defender Series Pro XT Clear

I just got this same cause I'm not gonna lie I was definitely hoping the raised edges were gonna be a little higher around the screen and especially the ones in the back that go around the camera I wish were a little higher.

Is the MagSafe ring made of magnets or is it just a plain ol’ metal ring? Can someone test to see if metal is attracted to the case by itself without the phone inside?

By far the hardest otter box I’ve ever installed.

My fingernails almost came off my fingers and it hurt a lot. I gave up after 30 minutes and returned this piece of crap

Does this case have a built in screen protector ?

Kinda defeats the purpose of buying a case when I throw my new phone across the room out of frustration. Lol

Does the clear back scratch up?

I know you mentioned the tempered glass brand, but does it really matter if I get a different brand is there a potential issue with other brands?

You can literally put your phone in the case by just placing it in normally like any other case. That’s what I did and was easy, not sure why people are having trouble with this when it was literally that easy

I’ve been installing Otterbox Defender Cases since the iPhone 5 😂 I finally found peace with the installation process with the 6s. The one I recently installed on my 14 Pro was no biggie.

That actually looks badass with the Purple iPhone 14 Pro. I might just go out and buy one. I’m currently using the Defender Pro / Blue Suede Shoes with Holster.

I rather a symmetry otter box case

Installing this was made way more worse than needs to be lol I do this at work; put the phone in flat into the bottom, put the top layer on flat, edge out one corner and following that same side just push it around, like pushing an air bubble out lol

Love the case but it took me almost like 25 minutes to install this. My finger tips were numb. 🤨

I hate it I hate it I hate it I stepped on my 14 unfortunately and now my plastic piece of the case won’t click and it’s loose. Hopefully I saved my box for that warranty if not I’m going to Best Buy and returning it. Stick with the bulky regular defender pro. Trust me. It ain’t worth fucking up a $2000 dollar phone. Oh and not to mention when I went to Best Buy to have my screen protector fixed because it lifted and the dude was so rude and told me it lifted because of this case. You need to literally have perfectly install your glass protecter straight or it’ll lift and you’ll be going back and fourth fixing it. Problems problems problems. Not to mention this case just isn’t that protective. Don’t waste your time that clear plastic fronting will get brittle over time. You’re welcome sorry to shit on the product but people need to know. I got mine on sale for $45 and it’s originally like $70. Don’t waste your money honey.

I wonder if it’s compatible with a lens protector

For those having a hard time installing this case I used an guitar pick with some pantient and it made the the installation abit easier

Use the tab part of the lid of a classic bic pen and just run it down the outer part like putting on a bike tire.

I just bought this otterbox case today and its by far the best I have ever purchased

I literally bought the blue one yesterday. Tried to put it on for about an hour and walked back in best buy and returned it. It was worse then aggravating

Put the phone into the case first then the plastic part and lift up the rubber with a toothpick or whatever you can find and slowly put the plastic inside the case. The trickiest part are the corners. Took me about 6ish minutes.

If you’re using your fingers and nails to lift, you might not succeed.

*THEY WONT IMMEDIATELY CLICK INTO THE CASE, JUST KEEP TRYING BY LIFTING THE RUBBER AND PUSHING IN THE PLASTIC

I actually love this. I got the all black one. One thing I hated was the clear part on the front. Idk why they made it that way. However, it’s an awesome case. MagSafe so I can detach and attach my pop sockets

Love the case. It took me less than 5 minutes to install. The clear series with lavender trim looks nice. Only flaw is the ring/silence switch is hard to access.
