Great video Ben. I purchased the DDJ-800 decks which was designed to have the 4 channels like the 1000 but in a more compact size. Been really pleased with it 👍

Is the DDJ 400 fairly easy to use with a phone or an iPad as I don’t own a laptop and don’t really want to buy one?

I'm looking at getting some equipment, I used to have Technics and Vestax turntables many years ago.

There seems to be some great equipment out there, the problem is that most of it looks awesome so I can't decide 😬.

I think I'll either get the new Pioneer DDJREV7, Rane 12 MK2, or I might just buy some Technics again and use Serato. I like turntablism so that's why I prefer moving big platters. What do you all think I should go for?

I started with the Roland DJ707M I think that’s great pro kit, but it is tightly packed. I used some nexus Cdj’s and fell in love. The XZ is due to be delivered next week. The RX3 is beautiful but not the same jogs, not same as Xz and with other expansion limitations I just wanted to be able to add to the XZ. Those comfortable with two channels should go with RX3. I just wanted full flexibility but avoiding £6k outlay. My XZ cost £1700 brand new same as full price RX3. No brainer. Transport will be via car, and compared to the +50kg subs I’ve ordered … won’t be an issue with weight! 😂

Great video Ben. Been working with the Pioneer XDJ-RR since lockdown number 2 and really loving it. Costs around a 1000 euros and is quite portable and works with just USB sticks which I really love (not having to drag the laptop around ;-) Pioneer rules!

Great vid Ben, i just bought the FLX, moving from vinyl decks, i wanted something with full size jogs to learn with, before moving into the more expensive gear.

Nice video Ben. Just bought the flx6 myself. Wanted the ddj1000 but couldn’t warrant the price tag. I was massively chuffed with the flx6 does everything I could want and more
