Neighbours of an abandoned, dangerous building say they have met with a lack of action from authorities, despite their efforts over more than five years to get the site made safe.

Mt Roskill resident Kaye Buchanan told Stuff's Erin Johnson she and other neighbours have taken their concerns over the 921 Dominion Road site to Auckland Council, police, and WorkSafe, but little has changed.

“It's been such a landmark for all the wrong reasons,” said Buchanan, who feels “ashamed” of the site.| Subscribe: https://bit.ly/2JPg8oB
