Garden Buffet at South Point | Is this the best dinner buffet deal in Vegas?

My Jewish heart (and stomach) is so happy seeing you eat a Latke & Reuben! And! You got your latke with sour cream and apple sauce! There’s always a big debate in family’s if it’s better with sour cream or apple sauce or both. I prefer sour cream or some of both at the same time. I don’t like just applesauce with my latke. My husband ONLY eats it with applesauce 😂🫠. And a Reuben is my all time favorite sandwich (yes I know it’s not kosher because of the cheese and meat combo…). Extra kraut and Russian dressing!

Great price point, very decent selection. Burger, fries and drink costs 12$ and up now at fast food, so why not spend a little more....

Lemon meringue pie is worth the price of the buffet. The meringue is probably from powder not fresh eggs so you don't get salmonella. You'll have to come to my house for real lemon meringue pie.

I think that Lisa's comment about the aesthetics and cleanliness of the buffet is just as important as the food review. What with all the E Coli and salmonella breakouts lately, you want to know where you eat, especially at a buffet, where food can linger, that the staff is adhering to safe food handling protocols. I think that's a good idea to add into your reviews. It's your honest opinion, just like the food.
This was a good looking buffet, with a good diversity of food items. But I'll wait until Thanksgiving for turkey and stuffing and all the sides, since we only have it once a year! Next time I challenge you to move out of your comfort zone, so that means no pork, no crab for Lisa, and no Prime rib or bread pudding or banana pudding for Bill! Lol!
PS. How far in advance do you need a shout out? It's our 30th anniversary in December but we will be in Julian CA. So I might not see the video that week!

I really want to at least say we've been to Vegas ? from Australia now that we've tasted a bit of Canada and America.

Congrats on 75k! 100k is so, so close. Loved this review of a (surprisingly) great dinner buffet. It looked really good, and I was impressed when you said there were chefs on the floor talking with customers. That's how you do it .

For $29.95 with prime rib and shrimp, that's a great deal!

I’ll be honest, I prefer Taco John’s or Taco Bell’s food to authentic Mexican food I’ve tasted in restaurants. It’s far too salty and swimming in horrible cheese sauce. Okay, I don’t like Mexican food except cheese and onion enchiladas. I thought this buffet looked a bit sloppy. Lots of choices of mediocre food with a few standouts. Usually you find wonderful buffets, but I know you were on a mission. I would have eaten the prime rib, potatoes and some veggies.
