You arent entirely wrong but you arent thinking biblically either. While im not suggesting you be a fool im also suggesting that God defines love as trust and hope we are supposed to have hope and trust in other human beings you can say two things at once without them contradicting the other you shouldnt leave them around people who arent trustworthy YES you also should have people you know are trustworthy. Would you be able to leave your children around the apostle paul or Peter or jude or philemon God has given us the ability to judge all things and to be wary of peoples fruit.

I'm not one to tell others how to raise their kids, not leaving your daughter with another person let alone a man is very valid.

But not letting them have extra curricular activities, not letting them play with neighbourhood kids, not letting them do these normal childhood things is criminal to me. Your daughter might grow up very naïve and sheltered, Don you wont always be there, if you take these extreme measures your daughter will never mature and will not know how to navigate the world on her own. You are doing a great disservice to your children by denying them extra curricular activities and friends.

Dear Young, when I see Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah’s poem addressed to Christians, I always wonder how Christians will take these questions seriously and answer them.
Because when I watch it, I really believe that the doctrine of the Trinity contradicts the greatness of the Creator?
Of course, everyone has the right to what they believe, and the Creator is the one who will hold everyone accountable, but asking questions and searching for the truth helps everyone reach the truth.
Maybe it will help me understand how Christians think about their faith when they see this poem because I believe it is one of the strongest criticisms of Christianity.
