I love the concept and idea of this. I hope it goes through for true exploration I would like to see and play this. Hope it's done well.
ОтветитьThere almost certainly is going to be Star Trek stuff in this game at some point. I'd put money on it.
ОтветитьI've backed 3 diff projects that for 10 years in dev before a release and I hope Dan has a more realistic way of communicating progress...
ОтветитьI'll support the game. I seriously hope they succeed. Having a game where the goal is up to you to decide is perfect and refreshing imo. Plus it looks more like Star Trek than Star Wars which feels more plausable.
ОтветитьSo startrek vr ?
ОтветитьI think all games should be banned from release until there's some kind of finished model.
I'm sick to death of early access games that are half developed that developers then abandon once they have taken enough of players money, which then leaves you with a half finished product that the developer as no intension of finishing.
The Steam Market for me is just full of scam developers that are taking advantage of players hopes and for me there needs to be some kind of independent body brought in to stop Steam and games developers from ripping players off.
I'd sincerely hope that they'll make this playable with large crew (or small crew with NPCs). It'd be so great to have a real crew where I can control as a captain, or chill as a civilian, etc.
ОтветитьKeeping my hopes low, after that game star citizen. Full on scam
ОтветитьAt the time of writing this the kickstarter is already at 308k… oh boy :)
Ответитьits going to be shut down fast unless they get rid of the star trek stuff
ОтветитьI want to see the Mutara Nebula - no shields and no scans = DANGER 😃👍🏻
ОтветитьWhen will the VR version we be launched? Will it also come to Meta Quest?
ОтветитьScope is too big for a dev team of two.
ОтветитьToday i installed the demo of this game, it is amazing
ОтветитьThis is my dream game!
ОтветитьAre there plans to turn this into a VR headset game or just stay a computer game??
ОтветитьCan't wait for this cute game :3 woohoo ❤
Morning from Manchester, England ❤️ 🇬🇧
Okay, but is there a Holodeck? 💞✌😊🖖
ОтветитьOMG PLZ BE MULTIPLAYER
ОтветитьWith $234,092 already pledged, this looks promising. I'm leery of Kickstarter games due to past experiences, but if this is reasonably priced, and simple to play then I'm happy to pay for it. I will be downloading the demo on Steam to check it out.
ОтветитьWent to a Black Hole in the demo....one of the only times I've ever felt cosmophobia and needed to jump somewhere else...because it's the only place in the game where you can hear external sounds....it felt like it was getting closer to me or I was getting closer to it...even when, according to the ship, we weren't moving
ОтветитьThis seems like a lot of fun.
ОтветитьShame that they're using Unreal Engine
ОтветитьAs of the 28th, they're nearly at 190k in support on kickstarter which is pretty insane
Ответитьif the steward role has a good cooking mechanic, I'm in lol
ОтветитьSo I copied the Starfield file and pasted it into this and voila, Starfield is what we expected it to be! 😎
ОтветитьAny combat
ОтветитьThis is clearly another asset flip, come on guys. Haven't we seen it all before. The isn't even anything that remotely resambles actual gameplay, from the ship to the player animation, everything can be bought in the Asset store.
ОтветитьHonestly, even after its death I recommend Rogue System.
ОтветитьLOL it looks like a game from the 90's. geeze.
ОтветитьI'm going to be backing this at the Rear Admiral level -- this has been my dream, and even after 2500+ hours in Elite Dangerous and walking away from the game, I'm inspired again and excited for this!!
ОтветитьYeah I’m excited for this one I always thought how cool would it be if Star Trek bridge crew had an open universe to explore and now it looks like we are getting something like that in this 😜
ОтветитьCurrently having a Trek-gasm 💞✌😊🖖
ОтветитьI hope this game kicks ass but it sounds like it's promising too much
ОтветитьI wonder if there will be benefits from performing certain jobs on a starship in how such experience translates to an eventual command position and becomes useable knowledge from a command position. In the Star Trek universe you'll see captains utilize their knowledge, experience, expertise in their original field (science, engineering, etc.) towards their command decisions.
ОтветитьOnly game remotely like this is "From Other Suns" or "Star Trek bridge Crew". But much simpler.
ОтветитьI've been waiting to catch a playable demo of this for a long time. Thanks for the heads up!
ОтветитьI can't see half of this in the demo. Let's see what thy come up with..
ОтветитьI already tried this game.. So excited to see this go places... pun intended .
ОтветитьNo VR, no bueno! Devs are just going to have to do better...... Not impressed at all.
ОтветитьI love this. I've sunk hours into the demo already. Reminds me of the early days of Elite Dangerous when there was REALLY nothing to do, but it was still compelling because of the potential of what's there. Can't wait to explore the multiplayer when other creww can really play into it,
ОтветитьI played the demo earlier today. It was pretty cool and all, but it was an hour of turning on the ship, and then to find out that all but a few room of the ship were just empty boxes with a basic metal texture.
I mean the detail in the very little amount of stuff present is honestly impressive but like, in its current state I will be surprised if it ever comes out in full. (Hopeful, but I guess low expectations.)
That's a great idea to create the ship in CAD. But i'm still waiting for a simulator that gets internal ship gravity right. I know, a spinning disk kinda ruins the design of a ship and probably creates some headaches for game devs. But wouldn't it be nice to have gravity for the living quarters, then move to a gravityless cockpit to fly the ship?
** Special mention for Elite dangerous' spinning starbases ** They're amazing!
Would be great we could send recon teams down the surface of these worlds.
ОтветитьSomething with the scope of No Mans Sky and the realism of MSFS.....for £65K? Not a chance. even for an MVP. That's ridiculous. That is insane . Have you guys heard of The Day After? This reminds me just a little too much of that, if I'm being extremely honest.
Big games don't fail because the devs are lazy, they fail because projects of this scale are hard . They fail because the devs think it is easy, plan a budget accordingly and then, perhaps inadvertently, sucker folks into buying something that is impossible. I've seen it happen over and over, with games I've backed no less. I'm just...super leery of this.
All of that said... I would love to proven wrong as this does sound pretty awesome 😅
Damn, this looks like a really interesting project
Ответитьwant some real simulator - I added "Hobby Horsing" to Minecraft - just saying :D
ОтветитьEvery Star Trek fan should be getting excited for this game. :)
ОтветитьMy player character will be named Dave Lister
ОтветитьWill it have VR?
Ответить
