Ask the British, and they'd say they invented in the Internet. The US may have taken it to everyone (like the US did with the automobiles they didn't invent), but they didn't invent it. It was mentioned in the OIympic opening ceremony. A Canadian invented the telephone for one thing. And I know there's others, just not off the top of my head.

Misty really annoys me with her stupid camera shout outs after the matches - saying hello to everybody and "Go Dodgers!" and the rest of it. Nobody should care about you. I'm glad they are retiring.

Ok, let's compare how many Canadians were taught evolution, how many Americans were not...

It's a figure of speech... obviously the US isn't last.. what I'm saying is, I always hear stories, here on TYT, about the lack of proper education in the US, and I'm wondering if maybe Americans place athletic achievement over an academic one. I am not taking anything away from the US and what they've done these Olympics, it's amazing, especially Phelps... I can't say much with our 16 total :P and I am certainly not looking down on the US, nor am I jealous.

Why do people always want to look down on the US?! Is it jealousy?! If you're trying to point out that we are not the best at everything. Then that is obvious. But hating on Team USA for winnning the most gold medals and most medals in total by talking about our education etc...? What is the point of that?

I agree with her retirement & believe she will keep her word on it. They were the best duo in olympic history of any sport, check the record for evidence. As for a possible future partner, I guess Kessy, but I can't see that duo breaking up either.
