I did everything according to your recipe. whipped cream. But the cream is poorly absorbed and the skin remains sticky and greasy. What could I have done wrong?
ОтветитьHi Ellen! I think an addition of vitamin E would be good too. I’m going to give it a try today! Thank you for the recipe.
ОтветитьMade whipped tallow yesterday and it has a slight grit before melting on the skin…suggestions??
ОтветитьWhat tallow would I try to skin test on my one year old before I make this recipe? His skin reacts to almost everything so I wouldn’t want to buy too much of it and it go to waste 😭
ОтветитьI can't wait to try this. It looks wonderful. Thank you.
ОтветитьGreat information, thank you so much!!!
ОтветитьHi Ellen. Great video!
Whats the brand of the heat gun ?
.............. Super presentation, concise, to the point, full explanation, great tips included, thank you .....
ОтветитьCitrus on my skin may make me burn in the sun
ОтветитьThank you for this. What did you use for the scent? I’ve rendered my tallow three times and there’s still a beefy smell. I also used some oils.
ОтветитьLooks delicious ❤ tfs 😊
ОтветитьWell done. Thank you
ОтветитьSo the 1/2 cup of tallow is measured hard and not liquid?
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьCan you use organic castor oil as an addition with the olive oil?
ОтветитьWhy whip when it gets warm its all going to melt? Thanks.
ОтветитьWould the whipped come out of a pump bottle or too thick?
ОтветитьI had to come back and thank you so much , lovely lady ❤
I made this tallow balm with, camelia oil, rosehip oil, lemon and frankinsense essential oils, absolutely great 👍
I gave some to a friend who had really dry sore skin on his leg, and it's cleared it up within a few days of use.
I tried to whip some, but I think I need more practice, so I'm just sticking to the balm for now 😂
Thanks once again, my skin loves it too, next it's the beard balm.
Have a wonderful Christmas with your family, and God bless you ❤
Loving your videos! They are so helpful!
Do you think adding some arrowroot powder would keep it from being so oily?
What is the brand of the energy fragrance oil & where do you get it? Thanks in advance & this was a super helpful video 🙌🏽

ОтветитьHi, have you got the link for the Energy B scented oils? Thank you. Great vid.
ОтветитьI think I whipped mine to much. First time doing this
Ответитьwhat is the shelf life?
ОтветитьEllen thank you so much for the wonderful videos. I put mine in the freezer but took it out too soon I think so I whipped it a little then put it back in the freezer. It was very firm when I took it out the second time. I whipped it and it was very firm still. As I piped it into the container I noticed it wasn't fluffy at all just firm and very gritty. How can I make it creamier or fluffier? Thank you so much.
ОтветитьSalve, It rhymes with have. Think sav. 😊
ОтветитьI have a lot more tallow to use!!! How can I scale up this recipe?
ОтветитьHello, so I'm going to try and make this again. Im not sure if i over whipped it or under whipped it the first time or what but it started off fluffy and then ounce i gor it into my containers and then the next day it was hard...almost like butter. Any thoughts?
ОтветитьCan I use frankincense oil? Thank you.
ОтветитьCould you give a link for your FO? Thanks
ОтветитьWhere can you get the recipe your too fast on your video and mixing up measurements
ОтветитьEllen you are so good at explaining and describing. I ❤ your videos and I love you do gm, oz & %
ОтветитьCan you use castor oil?
ОтветитьSoapers Choice shipping price has sky rocket. I like to order Tallow from them, but now it's gotten too expensive. Do you know of other good supply companies. Love your channel, it has helped me so much. Thank you.
ОтветитьEllen, what is the shelf life of the tallow once you make the sun block or balm
ОтветитьThank you so much for the video. So great! Do either of these need to go in the refrigerator? Or can they just be left on the night stand?
ОтветитьThank you so much for sharing this beautiful recipe. I made my first tallow and olive oil soap 4 weeks ago with no added extra. Tried it yesterday and it has a creamy lather and very smooth when rinsed off. Love your channel.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьHow do I find the recipe
ОтветитьYou make the best recipes! Is there any way to incorporate goats milk into a whipped tallow balm?
ОтветитьOnline labels waterproof labels work with an ink jet. It's what I use.
Ответитьlooking for good labels any suggestions on a good company which labels last? :)
ОтветитьTHANK YOU for using different forms of measurements, that is such a helpful detail. Can't wait to try and make this.
ОтветитьCosmetic formulator here. Your formulations should equal 100%. Please don't measure in cups (volume), you need to weigh each ingredient. 1% is equal to 1 gram (simple).
ОтветитьMy tallow balm it’s a bit beefy scent but I love them too. My cat doesn’t like the smell so I’ve change to goose fat and they are lovely too without beefy smell.
ОтветитьHow long do you whip it
ОтветитьThank you Ellen for your willingness to share your formulas for us newbies! I’m still in the trial (and error) 😂 phase of my business. I wanted to make a formula for troubled skin. Your video was my inspiration. Tallow was my base but I added a small amount of coconut oil too for its benefits. For my oils I used grapeseed that I infused with chamomile and avocado oil, along with some smaller amounts of calendula and Bakuchi oils, Vit E, lavender, tea tree and Bergamot essential oils. Turned out great. I’m in your age group and think your skin looks fantastic btw. And as someone starting a skincare business in their 50’s I appreciate you! Teri
ОтветитьWonderful video, thank you so much for sharing the details. I'm just starting out, making my own products for home use and this is a really great place for me to get started 😊
ОтветитьThanks!
