Police getting creative to stop texting drivers

To stop telephone use and texting in automobiles the auto companies should put some sort of a dampening field around the car and then nothing would work

I drive for a living and see cops texting and driving or making calls just about everyday in numerous cities. How can these cops enforce a law when they don't abide by them either..

I learned something great from this clip. I'm not texting anything unless I pull over anymore. I didn't know they were really checking this plus I see it's totally unsafe.

Cops do not enforce this at all in California.

My son and I were picked up at taxi stand Orlando Intl. Airport some years ago. As soon as we were out of the Airport the female driver started texting and carried it out not stop to International Drive,!!

I have 128db air horns in my Ford Super Duty. Whenever I ride along side of someone for MILES who is continuously texting, (and they're usually in the left lane for no reason), I LUV how they are completely startled out of their "texting stupor" when I hit the horns! Little do they know that I may have just saved their life down the road.

Why only $100.00 fine? Make it higher, like $500.00 to $1000.00 and with a suspension of their license for one to six months. Double everything for the second offense.

"You have to pay over $100" Only if you're lucky. If you're not, you'll pay a lot more, maybe your life, maybe someone else's.

Texting and driving should not just be getting a ticket and leaving. They should be ARRESTED ON THE SPOT!

I was a truck driver for over 34 years, I saw people texting all the time even police officers but once I saw a school driver with the bus full of kids doing it, that really upset me.

Just make it a $10,000.00 fine like a DUI.

I get so frustrated when Im using google maps and ask siri for directions and it responds to me with, "this is what Ive found" expecting me to be able to read it while driving! I usually get in a fight with siri and say mean things to her, pull off the freewayt, pull to the side of the road, and do it myself. One time siri told me that what I said "wasn't very nice".
