I have been on the cruise viva line 2024 Nov. I do not recommand to board on this to board at all. they charge you on most of every facillities instead they serve on free of charge while usual cruise ships does and the buffet restsurant seats are situated too close one another so that you must face the too narrow spaces to pass around with your food tray to share your neighber boarders on top of that most of the cruisers are Chines who have no idea to keep the rules nor to stand in lines and this ship does not have even a night club and the shows were too much low class very cheap

went on VIVA last year to greece turkey & italy..beautiful ship, but lots of wasted space. food good, beetlejuice good, did press your luck, great excursions!!

So basically everything’s an up charge and the ship has been sectioned off to were if you don’t pay for adult only or hive you are left with what’s left over ,a condensed amenity experience unless you pay more money , wow ncl is out of their minds lol 😂 also that drink package non alcoholic version is $80 a day

I love cruising. In fact, leaving again in a few weeks for Alaska this time. I have viewed MANY videos for different cruise ships, (mainly Norwegian as they are my favorite), and destinations for future trips. I must say, that I find your videos pleasing, and concise, with no extra "banter" trying to be funny or cute. The video work was smooth, annunciation was fantastic. Really a great job, well done. I'm a follower now. Thanks for all you do for us cruisers.

Just got off the Viva after 3 weeks on a transatlantic cruise. The Viva is a beautiful ship and the balcony rooms had the best layout. I like how they spread all of the venues out so the ship doesn't appear too crowded, but the venues (Syd Normans, Theater, and the Atrium etc) are too small for guests to attend unless you get there and line up very early. The main pool is small and the race cars above are too noisy to relax. The buffet was the most disappointing venue I have experienced on any NCL ship. It is too small and cannot accommodate the crowd. They did open Food Republic during breakfast and lunch and that helped, but the buffet was a madhouse. The food was okay. There were healthy options, but the selection was repetitive. Some of the food tasted like cafeteria food, not the quality offered in other NCL ships, but maybe it is a sign of the times. I loved being able to purchase fresh carrot juice. They offered fresh crepes! I was hoping for more fruit cobbler. The desserts were very pretty to look at, but kind of tasteless, but maybe that was a good thing since I did not overindulge and I lost 3 pounds! We did not like the hours. In larger buffets, they can shut down sections and still keep it open. I felt we had to rush to make it for breakfast. Not too many people visited Indulge. We tried it a few times. I like the concept, but not the selection so much. Many of the items on the menu are best on a buffet so we can take small bites to sample. I enjoy eating in the specialty restaurants. I still love NCL and would go on Viva again, but I will plan on getting to everything early.

NCL: Everybody has access to the open bar but if you wanna have fun activities $$$$

I can’t. I go on vacation to get away from humans, not be sandwiched btwn thousands of them as I sulk looking into the human soup pool

Edit: the second hand smoke in the casino that migrates into non smoking areas is usually noxious

Where do they do the night parties such as Glow etc? Doesn't look to have big open space like Spice H20 on Breakaway class ships or even a big pool deck like Jewel class.

I mostly follow royal carribean and thought of looking at what norwegian has to offer. Literally everything is upcharged. I would get the big things but this is bs. Aren't their fares more expensive in general too?

Planning on taking this ship later this year... the finishes are amazing. So bright and airy! One thing I LOVE are those side pools on the lower deck away from the main pool & the small pool at Vibe; I was on the Joy last year and the pools were terrible, no pool at vibe & the heat in Mexico got me up there!

Go Haven or stay home. Just completed transatlantic on Prima. Great trip
