I'm thinking of buying a mini pc and turn it into an android gaming/netflix box with Prime os on it.
I was first looking at a Asus Chromebox CN62 i7 5th gen or a Mac mini 2014 but then I found an Intel Nuc i5 7th gen and the MoreFine M6 with 16gb ram and 1tb ssd. I'm not sure which one to go for.
Advice is appreciated.

Btw I got a 16gb and it's not dual channel. It's a hard toss up between this and mele. I think a mele quieter3c will last longer quality wise, but doesn't perform as well. The m6 is loud af, in a high pitch way. 8gb is enough to do under 10 Firefox tabs with photoshop

they now sell this with the newer cpu's, the n6000 and n6005, they are much faster in the igpu department

I would stay away from Microsoft Windows as it will become a target for hackers trying to hack your computer remotely so DEBIAN Latest Version or the latest version of GhostBSD or a 80586 build of UNIX System V.

Planning to get one and use it as my interface with the outside world while my laptop or desktop will be only connected briefly for online gaming. Online security is so important these days and I just dont trust any software to do it. Best is to just be unplugged.

I got one of these (partly because of your review )it was Awesome i used it for like a week , and then boxed it up , about 6 months later i un pack it , it seams to be running fine , but i cant get it to display , any ideas ? (i tried multiple hdmi cables , monitors , a vga to hdmi adapter , and even emailed morefine to no avail ). I wouldn't bother you , but information on the m6 is scarce online.

I wish they made it all in one usb c for power, display and data. That will be cool for dock-able portable pc.
