WINNER Gameathon 2022 - Genieous Board Game Trailer

Genieous is a trivia game that gives you a fun and exciting playing experience.

Players will receive challenges in simple questions and each players must bet their courage to list down as much answers as they can. Only the bravest and the smartest would have their wish granted.

The game has 4 Phases.

Phase 1: Question Phase
The first player takes the card from the question deck and pick one out of the two questions available.

Phase 2: Bidding
In this phase, each player try to out-bid each other on the amount of answers they can give for the question. Players can either RAISE from the previous bid or PASS. This continues until one person is left standing with a certain number of answers that they claim they can list down. (i.e. to answer the topic ‘fruits’ a player claims they can list down 25 different fruits.) This player becomes the ACTIVE PLAYER.

Phase 3: Trivia
In this phase the other players beside the Active Player bets if the Active Player will succeed or fail. The Active Player must then start to answer the question in a normal talking pace. Points or Curses are given to both Active and Passive players depending on the success and conditions of the phase (read the rulebook for more on this.)

Phase 4: Wishing Phase
Active players can play a wishing card.

The end of the game is triggered after 7 rounds, and winner is the player with the highest points.
