Whattup gangsters, the video description can't fit this information so it's placed here instead. Some mistakes pointed out in the comments: James Wan is Asian Australian (woops!). The image of Ridley Scott is of H.R. Giger.
Here's a list of every film shown in order of appearance - refreshed per decade. A Letterboxd List of every film referenced, talked about and shown is also in the description.

Jordan Peele is a DEI hyped race baitor. He's mediocre, at best.
ОтветитьYou are a genius, thanks for this video which I don’t know how many times I watched. I also saw you have one about best horror movies and really….cant wait to see it. Thanks again, you are just the best 🔪
ОтветитьNot the "YOU'RE TEARING ME APART LISA" from the room 💀
ОтветитьWhat movies about killer cars & trucks even robots & androids classics
ОтветитьGood documentary, but the estrogen oozes out with this presenter 😑. Bet he voted for Kamala
ОтветитьI think I've watched this 100 times!❤
ОтветитьI don't have the focus, patience, and wherewithal to watch a 2-1/2-hour documentary about the history of horror.
You need to break this up into digestible segments.
So, what happened to Cat People and all the other Val Lewton RKO '40's hits eh? Hardly a COMPLETE history.
ОтветитьI don't think you have to be anti-censorship to be a horror film fan. I've loved horror films all my life and, honestly, I think we could do with a little bit more censorship.
ОтветитьInteresting that you have that viewpoint from jennifers body, its like decent, but incredible? I dont know. It has some decent writing but i wouldnt say written and directed EXTREMELY well. its like a C+ but its not a 54%
ОтветитьHorror movies are just thrillers though... at least the good ones, the jump scare ones can be their own genre.
ОтветитьSurprised you didn't talk about Night of the Hunter, 1955. Great film.
ОтветитьWomen where thought to be bad luck on boats, so yeah makes sense.
ОтветитьI still think The Shining is more hype than a master class but still head and shoulders over most horror . The study over why Kibrick did what he did ignores whether or not the average viewer responded to any of it rendering it the snobby film school student darling its become . Meh
ОтветитьEbert never understood fantasy . He could not grasp it .
ОтветитьThis documentary is amazing. It was truly a labor of love and it shows!
ОтветитьHeart-stoppingly informative. Live long and prosper.🖖
ОтветитьGeorge Romero! Gosh....I watched hundred times his movies! John Carpenter, Wes Craven and George Romero are those guys who gave hours of binge-wathcing. I grew up watching their movies
ОтветитьThe editing in this video is awesome
ОтветитьAs I kept watching the video, I couldn’t help but notice the awkward sentence structures, with repeated words and strange diction choices. I wonder if the script was partially made or rewritten with AI. Hopefully not utilizing others’ work and being placed into AI to be reworded.
ОтветитьJames Wan is Australian, not American
ОтветитьManaged to make it 15 minutes before the woke virtue signaling started.
Ответитьwow he way you inject leftist identity politics crap into everything is really pathetic. Beta boy. Disliked.
ОтветитьPs alien i watched in the ABC cinema when it was first released in the 70s and i had the misfortune of watching alien Romulus recently, what an absolute pile of crud that is,a lot of these remakes or trilogy's don't hold a candle to the originals and are soon forgotten in time, alien and aliens were and still are the best of the bunch, the rest were only made to milk the product, example the omen remake, exactly the same as the original but without the chills and thrills and scares of the original.
ОтветитьBlack Christmas is a classic, first seen it late 70s and have watched it many times since, that desk officer at the police station telling John Saxon the phone number was hilarious.
ОтветитьHonestly I don’t mind the offensive stuff in King Kong cuz I respect the fact that it was a different time whith it’s different rights or wrongs
ОтветитьGore is not scary the exorcist was scary gore is just gross big difference. Just one mans opinion
ОтветитьAbsolutely amazing job!
ОтветитьCandyman is a weird one. He might not have even existed in universe. Strong evidence that Helen just lost her grip on sanity and did the murders herself.
ОтветитьI'm not sure I commented, but I've watched this a few times. This is a very well-made video. (I'm a video editor myself.) A lot of work went into this. Well done! GREAT JOB!
Ответитьhard to swallow? its not the gorrilla fault to have flat nose, and ....prominent lips? dont go that road mate, all we have eyes in our heads, and what it is, it is.....
Ответитьdude this is truly epic! Don't know if this was all one person (yourself) or a small team, but whoever worked on this, be damn proud of yourselves! Better than some very well funded docs I've been watching recently. Not easy to edit a 2 hour doc, not easy at all!! Well done!
ОтветитьThe real horror is what you go through AFTER you eat them hot peppers........... that's some scary sh*t.
ОтветитьDu verkar vara en riktigt patetisk Pk-Tomte 🤢🤮👎
ОтветитьThere's LOTS of good stuff in your video.... Why would you spoil it being so woke that it's almost a joke...
ОтветитьAs someone who loves horror movies after watching this documentary I realized I cant even call myself a horror fan the information in this video is honestly mind blowing and really makes you think how creative we are as human beings even with little to no resources and somehow manage with a master piece of a film
ОтветитьWould have been a lot cooler if you just laid out the facts and kept your political ideologies out of the video
ОтветитьIT was not mentioned. The highest grossing horror movie of all time. Wtf. What's the point of putting Pennywise on thumbnail. 😂😢👎
Ответить😆 Blackula
ОтветитьHorror movies are no matter what my favorite genre in films ether bad or good it’s still have a complicated history and why it makes us feel the way we do
ОтветитьRachel is the character's name in The Ring, Naomi is the actresses name.
ОтветитьThis was great until your libtarded whining about King Kong started.
ОтветитьA remake of sorts was made of freaks , thru the show America horror and they did have a few with special features, if your a fan of the show, then it was a good season.
ОтветитьYou're such a woke prick
Ответить
