Fabulous
ОтветитьLoved watching this! Wondering what you use to carry all that glass tho 🤔
Ответитьnice
ОтветитьHow come you deleted your previous 'what's in my bag' video about your old setup? Just looking for it as it would be a more affordable option for me starting out also super helpful to see where you started out! Love your videos x
Ответитьsame mic setup here
Ответитьi'm in love
ОтветитьThank you so much for sharing this with us
ОтветитьHi roxy :) love your channel. Can you pleaee recomand me about camera? What good camers to start with?
ОтветитьI have a lot of the same gear including the z400 2.8 and 180-600. Might try to get on your next Africa trip and learn a thing or two
ОтветитьRoxy, just found your channel and the first thing that brought a smile to my lips was that you pronounce "Nikon" the way it should be, kudos to you. SO many others have a funny pronunciation. They don't say Leeka or Leheeka when they talk about that german camera, do they? Will be watching more of your vlogs from now on.
ОтветитьYou look like Scarlett Johansson
ОтветитьIf I was using Nikon Z system, I would get two Nikon Z7 II Cameras, Nikkor Z 400mm 4.5 VR S and Nikkor Z 800mm 6.3 VR S, this set will be compact and Light weight, also more affordable.
ОтветитьThat's awesome, I too use the Peak Design Travel Tripod (with the universal head adapter and a video head). Mine is the aluminum one though, a bit cheaper than your carbon fiber version. It's such a great tripod!
ОтветитьInteresting video 👍🙂
ОтветитьWhat bag do you use to carry your equipment?
ОтветитьWOW!, I pretty much have the same equipment, with the exception of the Fluid Head and Wireless Mic (using the Komodo 5 and 7, along with the DJI Mic), I ordered the Z 400m 2.8 in April 2022, and the 180-600mm in July 2023 (still waiting for both lens to ship). The last time I was in Alaska was on a Cruise Ship in 2006, I found the Wildlife unbelievable! It is also where I learned about DSLR Camera's. At the time I had an HP Point in Shoot Pocket Camera, capable of shooting a max size of 640k images... Times have definitely changed :)
ОтветитьAnother really informative video - beautiful results... great work
ОтветитьFrom Indonesian 🇮🇩❤️
ОтветитьEveryone has great camera gear but your passion, drive, dedication, commitments, respect for Nature will definitely reward you .Yes,dream big and best of luck .Yash, Ecocare Foundation,USA.
ОтветитьThat lense is crazy 😂 Basically looks like you're holding a telescope
ОтветитьHow is the performance of the new 180-600 mm? it would be really nice if you can share some pics taken with it. Thanks
ОтветитьI'm still a DSLR shooter and don't think I'll be switching anytime soon just because of how cheap it is now. Recently I've picked up a 400mm 2.8g from Nikon and man does it feel nice. These used to be a dream but now the price point is so accessible.
ОтветитьNice setup and kit. That 400mm is indeed a beast, as seen from the quality of your Lynx images in your last video. I am curious to know what you mean when you say you are signed as a Nikon creator though, is that your occupation? You always seem to be visiting many wonderful places, making these great vlogs. I can't imagine a better job to have, lol.
Great video as always.
Question for you… do you ever find the Nikon screen limiting in terms that it does not articulate like the Canon? That is the only thing holding me back from jumping to Nikon. Love the lense selection and price point. Yourself and Morton Hilmer make me wanna go to Nikon so bad…..
ОтветитьIm tired of those "what is in my camera bag" . Be different, Be more creative! Just a thought!
ОтветитьYour dedication to showcasing the wonders of the natural world through your lens is truly remarkable. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to preserving our planet's precious creatures. Keep up the amazing work! ❤
ОтветитьI have the z9 with the z400 2.8. I made two trips to Alaska this summer and carried this combo on a peak design strap virtually everywhere I went and shot handheld photos, no video. I considered taking a lighter lens in my Brooks River walk in Katmai National Park but decided I paid too much not to use the lens (it is insured). It was a workout but is doable. For photos, I miss too many shots trying to use a tripod or even a monopod unless I am camped out in one spot. I am a 59 year old 5’7” female. I had to get a new bag when I got the lens. I use the Fstop Tilopa with the extra large ICU.
ОтветитьI don’t doubt your core strength 😂
ОтветитьThat's quite an endorsement for the Peak Design travel tripod that it is actually capable of supporting that fluid head and camera setup!!
ОтветитьMaybe one day I'll have forearms and biceps big enough to carry industrial sized camera lenses like you Roxy. Great lesson nonetheless!
Ответить👍🏾😎
ОтветитьHi Roxy. 👋
You're using my latest set up for my bird photography.. the Nikon Z9 plus the new 180-600mm Nikon lens. 😊 A brilliant pairing!
That's where my kit ends though...I always handhold, I don't need to narrate or film myself, so all your extras I do not require myself. I have been thinking of a tripod for video recording though. Thank you for the great vid! ❤
I love hearing anything you want to talk about. I also love your pictures and videos, they are beautiful
ОтветитьAn impessive array of kit, but a bit of a job to lug it around, but we know what fantastic shots and recordings can be made.
ОтветитьHave you tried the Z 400mm f4.5, if not do give it a try.
The lynx photos were superb.
thank you so much. I was waiting for this video.
ОтветитьI have to say with the current IBIS and lens stabilisation the tripods are certainly not as much of a factor as they were in the past, at least for brief hand-held sessions. But obviously when waiting for a subject a 400/600mm prime will get tiresome!
ОтветитьWhat bag or carrying case do you use?
Ответить“Small” bag :D carrying around such big utilities must be a heavy duty. Thats passion 🎉
Ответить
