Hey! This video is awesome! Just love your tutorials! Did you wash the fabric before sewing? The channel?
ОтветитьThanks for this easy tutorial! I whipped up 4 in a very short time. Your tutorial was easy to follow, and I appreciate it.
Ответитьwhat are the measurements for the pattern?
ОтветитьWhere did you get your labels from?
Ответитьis there a link too the labels?
ОтветитьI've made several of these using terry cloth and just recently decided to try the chenille. Do you have any tips for sewing with the chenille? I can't seem to keep it from bunching up!
ОтветитьI wish I saw this video before I order burp cloth’s 😆.
ОтветитьHi Dana. I’m getting ready to make these now! Where did you get your little labels from? Can you send me a link?
ОтветитьGreat video for burp cloths. I plan to make a bunch!
ОтветитьWow just wow😮
ОтветитьVery cute. Did you prewash fabric?
Ответить❤❤❤

ОтветитьFirst time mom here and I’m trying to cut down cost on items that I need a lot of. These will be great help as I have left over material and I can get a lot from the cotton chenille fabric. Very good tutorial 💖👍
ОтветитьWhat kind a machine is that I loved
ОтветитьNew to sewing and this looks so easy! Can't wait to try some of these!!
ОтветитьThank you so much for your help.. I really appreciate it.. 🤗
ОтветитьHas anyone used cloth diapers for this project? If so would you recommend washing them first?
ОтветитьJust ordered the chenelle. Pricey these days. I am going to make a bunch. Going to curve the corners i think formeasier turning.
ОтветитьI've made these so many times now - thank you. People always love them. Thank you!!
ОтветитьAbsolutely very helpful 🤩
Starting adding to my baby blanket gifts🙂
🙋🏻♀️🌻👍🏼
I was wondering how you keep the chenille from stretching as you sew? I am using flannel as the top layer. Is there something else I can use?
ОтветитьI have tried making these twice now and they have come out horrible. I can not get them to work. Once I turn them right side out the back piece of flannel is bigger, even though it was cut the same size and it will not lay flat when I sew it. It puckers and looks horrible. I have been sewing for over 50 years but this is eating my lunch. I am using 2 layers of flannel with Zorb in thd middle.
ОтветитьThanks so much for this video! I bought a pack of muslin swaddles and was unsure if I would get good use out of them once the baby is here. Now I know I can repurpose them and get my money's worth.
ОтветитьI make these for every baby shower that I attend. Get lots of compliments from Mom’s that they love them!
ОтветитьWhat’s on the tiny labels ..
ОтветитьIve made for my nieces babies years ago and now for my granddaughters. The mommies absolutely love them. Thanks to you for this awsome idea. Love your channel.
ОтветитьI stopped sewing for nearly a year, but have started up again , and feeling inspired by you with your positive and happy vibe. I hope you make more videos again.
ОтветитьSaw Billy in concert last year. He was wonderful, still rocking it out. Best concert I've ever been to.
ОтветитьI am new to sewing and love watching your videos. I had no reason to make Burp Clothes but watched the video and decided to make some. I just found out I can do them to the NICU at UK where I work! They are so cute, easy to make, and great practice for the novice .
ОтветитьI am excited to try these as my first attempt of sewing a functional item. where did you get your labels? Thank you
ОтветитьGoing to make some burp cloths for my baby and this has been the easiest video on sewing so far lol THANK YOU
ОтветитьOne of my friends is having a baby girl in August. I'm making her this, as well as the bib and blanket you posted. Thanks for uploading.
ОтветитьI love these too and thank you so much for explaining how to make them and sharing your idea . They really do make great gifts . I had a lot of fun making them ! Thanks again ❤
ОтветитьWould you mind sharing what type and model your sewing machine is?
ОтветитьWould microfibre work for the soft part for a baby???
ОтветитьLove the video, love your energy. amazon's price for the terry fabric is outrageous. Much cheaper at Joann. But thanks for the video. Left a Like. :)
ОтветитьIf the bits come off the material I would be frightened they get in baby's mouth. Think I would prefer towelling material.
ОтветитьCould these be made with a flannel top instead of cotton?
ОтветитьWhat label do you use?
ОтветитьMy fabric kept moving. So frustrating. I had so many pins in.
ОтветитьIt’s been 8 years since I first enjoyed this video. One of my sweet friends is expecting his first great-grandson in a few weeks. How cute will this be when I make a few with baby fabric on back and sneak in on w/ a piece of his great grandpa’s old jeans on the back? I’m so jazzed about this that I went to Joann’s and got a yard of terry chenille so I can make today. Yours is my favorite pattern.
ОтветитьThe chenille is now over $20.00 a yard. Any other suggestions or sources?
ОтветитьI have made these for many baby shower gifts the past few years & they are wonderful. I have never had a Mommy complaint yet. I also cut 6” squares of flannel to stitch together baby washcloths.
ОтветитьFood for thought as a newcomer to this video… could the chenille fuzzies be dangerous to baby for inhalation hazards etc? I wonder if a different fabric might be better? Any tips?
ОтветитьDo you prewash fabric?
ОтветитьDo you need to pre-wash chenille fabric before making the burp bibs?
ОтветитьCould you use cottn material and flannel for the back?
ОтветитьHi Dana , greetings from Melbourne Australia. Thanks for sharing your creative work. I’m currently 3 months pregnant having my first baby . I can’t wait to try your easy method of sewing . . I’ve gone ahead and subscribed . I’ve chosen not to know the gender of my baby so I will make lemon and yellow colours thanks once again.
Regards Tracy x
The chenille fabric is now over $20 per yard
