Meh-quality restaurant.
ОтветитьI’m sniffing my frozen salmon 😅
Ответить10% cooking
90% story telling
Dude is a multi
No way you are allowed to touch it in my country. You can’t find another shop allowing you to touch.
Ответитьday 35: the salmon still hasn't told me anything
Ответитьloved it
Ответитьburned up skin, undercooked in the middle, and farm raised ??? WTF
ОтветитьFarm raised- you can’t be serious! Just go get a filet o fish and save some time and effort.
ОтветитьFarm raised- Booooo!
ОтветитьFish monger " YOU SMELL OR TOUCH MY SALMON YOU BUY IT !!! "
ОтветитьHow to cook salmon: salt and pepper, put it in the pan until done.
ОтветитьYea most chefs don’t use farm raised salmon.
ОтветитьI hate the skin on salmon 😩
ОтветитьNo way I’m eating farm raised, inbred seafood. That stuff is loaded with GMO’s and antibiotics among other things. All set with that.
ОтветитьCook me some of that salty fish. Kiss me teeth. Delicious.
Ответить🎉
ОтветитьKISS
Love it :)
I thought farmed salmon, especially in the USA was full of antibiotics and hormones Maybe I’m wrong
ОтветитьYou lost me at low nutrition, toxin filled, low omega 3, grain fed, disease filled, antibiotic pumped, farm raised salmon.
ОтветитьOvercooked near the skin ((
Ответитьit's a little bit under, chef!
ОтветитьGreat video. Why wouldn't you salt salmon in advance so the salt propagates deeper into the tissues creating richer taste?
ОтветитьDon't cook the sides, but turn momentarily against the hot pan, hit with a torch, or splash with the juices to sterilize them. With the foodchain so capitalized upon these days, it's hard to trust sources of food sometimes. Or maybe all the time. Fresh and local, maybe...
Ответить"...and that means there's no slime on it." Never truer words. Fresh as possible.
ОтветитьThe moment he said 'prefer farm raised salmon', I stopped watching.
ОтветитьDo you scale the salmon?
ОтветитьFarm raised - you know that salmon was ONLY grey until they added the pink food pellets...
ОтветитьAre you seriously advocating farm raised salmon? I’m a commercial salmon fishermen and wouldn’t touch farmed salmon unless it was the last thing available. Support the last huge wild salmon run and support healthy humans by buying wild salmon.
ОтветитьIf you dont like your fish to be fishy one thing i like to do is eat something else
ОтветитьMore people should try the skin. Its tasty.
ОтветитьWhy the concern for crispy skin? You certainly don’t eat the skin, do you?
ОтветитьEww farm raised??
ОтветитьThank you...I eat too much salmon for it not to be as delicious as possible......the crispy skin tip is awesome!
ОтветитьWow they turned out fantastic, excellent video. Note to others make sure to error on the side of under cooked, you can always stick it back in the pan.
ОтветитьAs soon you said “farm raised” I moved on…..🙄
ОтветитьChooses farm over wild salmon 😂
ОтветитьWow simple but delicious thanks for the tips to ensure I have crispy salmon skin
ОтветитьHere is a tip, add a bit of soy sauce on top the salmon whilst cooking. Makes it delicious.
ОтветитьDid he really said FARM RAISED???? No way...
ОтветитьNo store will let you put your nose up to food and smell it. Also farm raised Salmon contains to much bacteria……
ОтветитьSorry mate but I don't want to shop at any fishmongers who allows a bunch of people to hover their nose an inch above the foot and snort over it.
ОтветитьHow many stores are going to let you do all that, u will go without salmon on most occasions, and i would not blame the store, i would not buy after others have been doing that .
ОтветитьRaw but tried needed another minute or 2
ОтветитьNo farmed salmon ever
ОтветитьExcellent series. Clear demonstration and explanation of steps.
ОтветитьNice. I'm going to try this. Thanks
ОтветитьI broil mine, skin side up. Perfect every time and no strong fish smell in the house.
ОтветитьFor years I've been doing my salmon en-papiot, the meat comes out great but I have to bin the skin cos it's soggy and horrible. Finally got around to cooking it this way and OMFG, the crispy skin makes so much difference. Possibly the best thing I've ever put in my mouth.
ОтветитьYou lost your chefness when you said you prefer farm raised salmon. Sorry.
