Lancaster University CAMPUS TOUR

Four months have passed since I arrived in Lancaster, and I still can't stop wondering how much pleasure it is to live surrounded by nature, while not denying myself the benefits of civilisation.

Everything is modern here in terms of architecture and functionality. The architects, Peter Shepheard and Gabriel Epstein did their best. You look at the buildings of the campus and wonder: "Am I in the future?" There is a great infrastructure here. Motion sensors are everywhere, lights turning on, doors opening, and water running from the tap automatically.

I never cease to note this harmony between nature and modern technologies. Here they miraculously coexist and seem to support each other.
