I like John Leguizamo, but this infuriated me. Yes Latinos are literally some of the hardest working individuals in this country, but they definitely didn't help build this country. During the early stages of America from the 1600s-1800s, most interactions were between whites, Native Americans and blacks, with blacks doing most of the heavy labor. Then the Chinese would come later in the 1800s to help with the heavy labor alongside blacks. Latinos did not become a significantly contributing group until the later part of the 20th century 🙄.

Latinos helped contribute to the country. They weren’t the foundation that built America.
