Nope, never use any of these features. Always turn off RTX and DLSS. FXAA, MSAA, and TAA will perform better and look better then dlss.

1) AMD and Intel offer Ray Tracing
2) DLSS looks just as crap as FSR and xess, but FSR has ALWAYS been available to people on older hardware.
3) Twitch's av1 encoding is incorporated with AMD cards now as well

I can't stand fake FPS and input lag ... And all of that ghosting with DLSS , raw power no matter what ⭐

I had to use nvidia because somehow the best amd glue can’t run cyberpunk at 4.5k, and it just dies when I try ray tracing

DLSS gives you FPS for dollar and does not look like crap, while FSR does look like crap

I love Amd but I got an Rtx 2060 super used for 200$ CAD and it’s better than any new Amd card here so I’m happy with all nvidia features

A 2000 dollar toilet is amazing, but why do you need it when you could get a 100 dollar one that does the same job and looks nice.

Nvidia cards can be annoying though because the screen capture feature that is supposed to work automatically when you start up a game so you clip the last 30seconds, sometimes won't. You'll have to start a recoding manually by hitting 🪟 +G to open the menu and turn it on or it won't work. So just check before you start a game to see if you can clip, if not, it turned itself off again

Until pathtrace .... Radeon does fine at normal raytace. Pathtrace currently 1200 dollars. Not worth

If you work in the machine learning field as well, nvidia for now is the better option in terms of drivers and integration.

I make my PC to run the latest games with the latest tech and whoever is doing that best I will buy, hence why I own an Nvidia GPU

And for 3D artists?

FPS per dollar is the best. The cheaper with high performance

AMD cards offer more VRAM and it does make a difference as it means more can be loaded at once so you get less stutter.

For flight sims in VR, Nvidia is a clear winner imho. When you have a high end VR capable PC the fps per $ is irrelevant.

Nvidia can do all the features they like but if games are going down the more memory route, then Nvidia isn't going to be much good if the only valid gpu is the 90 card. At least AMD will have more cost effective gpus with more memory.

If you run or make research in ML, AI and similar, you're pretty much stuck with CUDA and Nvidia GPUs. While there are pretty good alternatives, they are not as popular or widely supported as green team ones.

Ray tracing is a gimmick. Don’t fall for the bells and whistles.

because games are better optimized for nvidia gpus and you can always buy the older gen nvidia gpu that is rougly the same as the new gen for cheaper than amd

FPS per dollar shouldn't be a thing. That's like buying a car with a brand new engine but no tires.

Fsr technology is much better than ray tracing at least it provides 15-30 fps extra which is useful for gamers than RT
So AMD is best in cost also and in performance as well
