I know this video is 3 years old, but before this video, did she go through the MSF?
ОтветитьWell done!
ОтветитьFrom looking at the still frame preview for this video, her helmet looks too big. The top of the eye port should not be right at the eye brows. I would bet that helmet would not pass a roll test on her head.
By roll test, I mean leave the helmet unstrapped and push up on the back of it. If the helmet moves before grabbing the scalp and doesn’t rebound at all, it’s too big.
That’s awesome that probably really helped make her more comfortable riding behind her so she doesn’t have to worry about cars behind her.
Ответитьgood coaching awesome video
ОтветитьJust shut-up and let her learn. Talk about it afterwards.
ОтветитьHi from Tucson!
ОтветитьIf you’re doing the speed limit, screw the people behind you. Unless they’re being aggressive or following too close. Then I’ll pull and let em go. I’m sick and tired of appeasing law breakers. When it’s clear to pass, DO SO!
ОтветитьDan can you create a playlist for all the learning videos? They are fab btw and Nikki is adorable and I feel like I'm at her level (although she's prob now a pro as I see these are from 3 years ago!)
Ответить"ok so act like you're not there." haha
Ответить50cc scooter rider upgrading soon to 125-200cc motorbike. Your channel has made my scooter riding excel by leaps and bounds. I hate to see people riding 50cc without absolutely no PPE. I don't currently have "full moto" gear but I wear something. Can't wait to take all that I've implemented from here into my actual in-person motorcycle training and hit the road as a SAFE motorcyclist.
ОтветитьBro, you're fenomenal! I wish I could have you as my teacher.
ОтветитьA pre-new rider here (I'm getting mentally ready for a bike riding program next year). So, if I got you right, when you're cornering, you lean your torso toward the curve while pushing on the corresponding handle bar? So if cornering left, you gotta push on the left handlebar, is that right?
ОтветитьI would pay real money to get some on the road training like that with DDFM, she is very lucky
ОтветитьShe's wearing jeans?
ОтветитьThanks for saying street names!!! I never went that way on OST and I’ve found other areas to practice because of you guys’ videos. I haven’t braved the highway yet but I plan on doing just like I saw on your video kolb, i10, houghton, home! Thx a bunch
ОтветитьGreat video! What kind of jacket is Nikki wearing? I couldn't tell.
Ответитьwhat a beautiful place to ride
ОтветитьThe "no wonder your helmet smells like shit" made me laugh lmao 🤣
ОтветитьI live in Greece and this road seems soooo straight! Maybe you should try some driving in the Alps, northern Italy for example!
ОтветитьWhy does her helmet say “HOE”
ОтветитьIn my country as a studying driver you need to have liable / sticker on you to indicate you’re practice driving on the road. For motorcykel the student has to wear a neon vest with the text on the back and I hate it. It’s big and funky and flies like hell on the highway 😂
Can’t wait when I don’t need it anymore
I'm a local it was crazy to see old Spanish trail in the video haha , if you ever are up for it I would be down to ride and get some pointers from you so I get better at the basics 💪
ОтветитьCool video guys 😀👍🇭🇲🕺
ОтветитьDan is the man. Sick bike bro 🔥
ОтветитьThe inputs are very subtle at speed. Eyes up looking for trouble. Road signs are very important. I tell myself when riding that I have one job, looking as far out as I can looking for trouble. Scanning the road for debris also.
ОтветитьWhat bike was Nikie driving here. Thinking of getting it for a first rider
Ответить2019 Indian FTR 1200 S, oooo that dash is beautiful!
ОтветитьGood video. How did you guys communicate on the ride?
ОтветитьNew rider here I have 260 miles on my ninja 650 and just watched this video and watching the turning and going to try doing what you are saying :) I still get nervous going 50 mph with the wind etc even when it doesn’t seem windy I still get blown around 😆 trying get more lose and more confidence
ОтветитьAs a mtb rider I stay upright and move the bike and bank over, should i do that on a motorbike or lean with the motorbike into the turn? should we go to edge of the road before turning in, or stay in the middle?
ОтветитьThis is amazing. More! :)
ОтветитьI wouldn’t be letting her ride so near the outside lane like that all the time. She needs to be more central in her lane and then moving slightly to either side of lane depending on corner.
ОтветитьGood job Nikki. You are more advanced than I am for sure. I just can’t ride on a busy road like that yet.
ОтветитьPlease do more learning videos like this thanks for your time and effort on this helps me
ОтветитьDo you push right from the left handle bar and vice versa ?
ОтветитьI hear push push push push learning turns…thank you👍
ОтветитьLook he totally ignores her and changes the subject 😹😹😹 wish we could get more talking from her.? He kind of talks too much. Ik he has to direct her but I mean the small talk parts.
ОтветитьThis would be so annoying
ОтветитьGREAT JOB GUYS! EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE 👍❤️ THANK YOU BOTH:)
ОтветитьThank you for the video. Your audio it's amazing ,can you share your setup 👌
ОтветитьLove your videos you make it look so easy and you explain things so clearly and easy to understand , I went out and tried things out and surprised the hell out of myself, I will clearly recommend your videos to everyone thanks ken
ОтветитьIs counter steering being used..I would like to see a detailed explanation & demonstration of that
ОтветитьI bet she rides like a badass now, great video.
ОтветитьGreat tutelage, some guys push their friends male or female, to ride beyond their skills. Look, press, roll. To stop from being stiff, I grip the bike more with my legs and keep my arms loose, I will consciously flap my elbows.
ОтветитьYou counter steer everytime you turn a 2 wheeler gal ❤
ОтветитьThat thumbnail gave me the amusing passing thought that there should be a motorcycle video called how to coroner that's filled with a bunch of bad advice
ОтветитьThe goal of this ride is to increase Nikki's confidence in her riding. We spent most of the time learning how to corner properly on her motorcycle. Lemme know if you like these videos!
