Just use the paint to do the same thing instead of caulk

You pulled the tape at an angle on the first one making the paint drag in that direction. Also the second one you pulled straight up dragging the paint up.

Hätte er mit der Grundfarbe(lila) gestrichen, statt Silikon, dann hätte es genauso funktioniert. Ein alter Malertrick , das habe ich mir auch abgeguckt.

Hate the lines caulk leaves behind. Hair spray works just as well and is a fixative. And hairspray comes with different sheens, so any that bleeds, blends.

you could also try rubbing your finger along the masking tape edge without the caulk...its a miracle.

Spelled it wrong

The caulked surface on the edge will prevent paint to stick to it, thereby causing uneven painted edge.

when you cheap out on tape. use frog tape.

When I have to undercoat a surface, I also apply the undercoat over the tape. This effectively seals the edges. I had to paint red features on white walls. No bleed! 😅

ModPodge is better.

You have to put it properly.

You also need to make sure it is paintable caulk! Very important.

Слева лучше лучше, хотя бы потому, что лучше приклеен скотч. Ну и герметик заполнил пустоты и дал краске вытечь. Но у меня и без герметика всё хорошо выходит. Но висит от ровности поверхности 😊
