The Battle of Okinawa: Desmond Doss showed what is heroism
ОтветитьSad reminder games aren't considered art by publishers these days
ОтветитьThis theme sounds like its dedicated to both the Americans and Japanese soldiers who fought against each other in the Pacific Theater which is what I love about it.
Putting aside Imperial Japan's atrocities and war crimes. The Imperial soldiers of the Japanese Empire themselves deserve to be honored and respected, same with Italian and German soldiers who fought in World War 2. Only a handful of Axis soldiers engaged in atrocities and most were just following orders by their commanders who are the guilty ones that were tried and punished. If we can't do that then I don't understand why we still celebrate Soviet soldiers who also engaged in wanton atrocities of mass murder and rape. The Soviets raped over 2 million German women in the city of Berlin alone. There were even accounts of rapes of Jewish women at Nazi Death Camps that were liberated by the Soviets. A lot of Eastern Europeans still resent the Soviets since they pretty much occupied Eastern Europe raping and killing their way to Nazi Germany. A lot of Polish people joke that "What's worse than being captured by the Germans? Being rescued by the Russians". The Soviet Red Army was literally nicknamed "Stalin's army of rapists". History is not black and white. It is full of ugly shades of grey. War brings out the worst in people. People can't control where they're born or how much propaganda gets indoctrinated into them. This very much applies to almost every soldier in World War 2 especially when referring to the Axis powers and Soviets. While many Soviet soldiers were cruel and brutal there were many who were just following orders and were doing their best. I don't it's fair to judge the ordinary soldiers who engaged in atrocities specifically and were mostly forced to at the behest of orders. I say this as a Korean, over 250,000 Koreans fought in the Imperial Army and most were volunteers, same with over 200,000 Taiwanese who mostly volunteered. There were japanese soldiers who didn't commit war crimes. There were japanese soldiers who tried to convince there friends not to. There were American soldiers who did commit war crimes and vice versa. I respect the soldiers who lost loved ones and friends, and had seen these horrible things happen. I think I mean to say I respect the good soldiers fighting because they love what's behind them, not because they hate what's in front.

ОтветитьI heard the first few seconds when Hugh Hewitt started a Veteran’s Day segment on his show today while in the car with my Dad. I was surprised to hear it because I recognized it IMMEDIATELY. My Dad mentioned it being used in some movie too, which he didn’t remember the name of.
ОтветитьBack when ea cared about the quality of thier games.
ОтветитьThe game’s 20 years old, how crazy is that? Time flies!
ОтветитьUsed to play this game with my cousin back in the day, I miss those days...
ОтветитьI sincerely miss MOH. It was such a great counterbalance to COD. Not only did it keep them in check and on their grind, but MOH had some fuckin BANGERS themselves. Wish someone would revive it.
ОтветитьCod aint got nothing on medal of honor especially since cod come after hehe
ОтветитьI hope to give this game the love it deserves
ОтветитьI miss Medal of Honor games. The veteran interviews in the bonus features were really nice and MOH in general just makes you remember that WW2 was won by people, each with their own story to tell. I really think a MOH set during the Korean War would be great but I hope it's soon while the veterans are still alive.
ОтветитьThe only things I liked about this game was the voice acting and music.
ОтветитьToo bad we never rescued Donnie
ОтветитьMy uncle bought an used Game cube almost 15 years ago. Everyday, after school, me and my brothers visited him to play on it. And Between a lot of games, there was this one. And, even if it Is not my favorite video game, this single song stayed in my head even after me and my brothers grow up and became old enough to work. I just find this single track so heroic, and tragic at the same time, just like my uncle. He never finished university (Just a year more and he could have got it) because he decided to help my grandpa at his little carpentry. He was the funniest and bravest of all the heroes of my childhood...Today, he was buried, and even if his body is traped inside a wood cage that will never be open again, I am sure that he is more free than ever before. This track reminds me of those times, when my heroe was still alive, full of life, capable of doing almost anything. Thank you, Ditto... (Yes, that is a stupid nickname, but we loved it)
Ответитьi would do everything to get a remaster of this game!
EA killed moh for no freakin reason
We had it all
ОтветитьThis game is so nostalgic
ОтветитьThey don't make them as they used to.
ОтветитьI wanna play it one more time 😢
ОтветитьLendario
ОтветитьMan Omomo was such OP npc in the multiplayer.
ОтветитьI remember shooting down the Kamikazees in the first mission, my Grandfather very plainly said: "I did that, although it was just one and there were no orders to fire, but I did anyway, because well- if I hadn't acted, men could have died."
ОтветитьStill here 2024 🔥
ОтветитьI love it when the music shifts to Asian music
ОтветитьIchiro Tanaka, Private First Class ...... my man.
ОтветитьI used to play the 2 player campaign with my dad when I was a kid. Words can't explain how precious those moments were to me. I would look forward to the weekends to continue playing with dad. Wish I could relive those moments 😢
ОтветитьThe welrod gun...Damn i miss it
