I hope that had made this scrambler style bike in the 450 cc vertical they are building, that would've definitely made it lighter with a massive loss in power, its a shame because i feel the 650cc engine is being overused by Royal Enfield that takes away from that charm of being their halo products.

Not at all. This is nothing but cheap modification. No innovation in scrambler exhaust, still heavy and most importantly increased seat height will make it impractical motorcycle for offroad.

i wish they tried a bit more and put this engine on the scram411 frame with reinforcements. It would have been more versatile...

RE products are not the same for the domestic and international markets. Shotgun, guerrilla, bear and now the classic 650 all being launched abroad and indian journos reviewing abroad and not in home conditions seems like an odd choice.
