problem mobilty very minus server 17?

Ok so I'm still looking for some helpful content this game seem fairly new hence why there isn't alot. A couple of things:
1. Some details would be good on how to approach alliance wars, fighting for building cities and strategies to win based off of rules of engagement.
2. How to recoup from a large loss.
3. How does the different heroes relate to each other as I find that my hunters are weak against mages for some reason, the same to I used to beat a gold team of Werewolves has no chance against blue team of mages, apparently there is a counter thing happening.
