Turkey need democracy

Türkiye was founded in 1923 by a Dictator and was a one-party state till 1945. Anyone who publicly insults or swears at the memory of Atatürk is punished with imprisonment from one year to three years. (Imagine going to prison for insulting George Washington) Where is Liberty? Where is the freedom of speech? CHP supporters endorse democracy only when it aligns with secularist principles. The constitution explicitly states that it is illegal for a religious community to get involved in politics, or to form a Party openly representing a religious group. Tell me is that democracy? In April 2017, a constitutional referendum was held, where the voters in Turkey (and Turkish citizens abroad) approved a set of 18 proposed amendments to the Constitution of Turkey. The amendments included the replacement of the existing parliamentary system with a presidential system. He gained more power legitimately, therefore Erdogan is not a dictator, he was elected, and Imamoglu is innocent until proven guilty. I salute Erdogan! I will vote for his succesor, lets make Türkiye Great Again!

Ekrem is not a rival to Erdoğan as Erdoğan can't run for president in 2028. The FACT is Ekrem has been funneling money from the people of Istanbul since early as 2014. His Father payed for him to get his college degree in English, have you heard his English??? 2 year old can speak better English. There are over 100 other people who were arrested that are part of his ring of money laundering and bribery. He also helped many terrorists get positions in to government positions. Imamoglu is not less nationalist than Erdogan, as far as foreign policy is concerned. You say there are Greeks and Armenians in Turkey but there are only 100000 Armenians in Istanbul. And only 2000 Greeks (after 1942 Varlik Vergisi, 1955 pogrom and the 1960s massive expulsions). There was no separation between State and religion in the Kémalist state. The State took control of religion. Which is not exactly the same thing.

I am writing this comment as a Turk, (my English is not very good, I got help from the translation)

1- Only the university that gave İmamoğlu's diploma can remove it, not the government. The person who went to the same university as İmamoğlu confirmed the incidents and said that there is no horizontal transfer at that university

2- The incidents started with the money towers in İmamoğlu's office and now İmamoğlu and dozens of people have been arrested.

Some tried to escape by putting their phones in their wives' bags.

Some were arrested for aiding terrorist organizations.

3-İmamoğlu created a crime company as a network, I am talking about billions of TL. And he directed them to his own family company.
