The net worth of India's diaspora in the west who reach retirement age cannot be measured like in India. For in the west co-operation was made in leaps in bounds amongst certain members of India's vestige with pioneers & citizens who arrived from many other countries. India is not right but is to comfortable to assume the west has mistreated it's diaspora. In the west immense achievments have been made in many spheres of life like education,tourism,industry,housing & above all it is the bread basket of the world. To achieve this Canada & America & other parts of the west allow freedome to recover than to be tied to deplorable working conditions. Among India's diaspora who have achieved retirement age it is notworthy that many could easily run or become C.E.O of age related spheres of excellence ,as well as new found technology & even the security for the well being of global peace & order. A colosial debt which cannot be easily elaborated is owed to India. For the most part there is peace in the west. However in other parts of he world it is evident that it is not. It is unfair that India does not have peaceful neighbours like those in the west do. In certain countries there is peace & prosperity but not love for Israel. History has been recorded not to pre-judge generations commited wrongs rather to ensure future generations have everything to look foreward to rather than nightmares to remember. Money though a valid instrument is the source of conflict similiar to resources held by few countries. People are good but misled by reading & not being consistant.The true measure of success is someone who renounced living standards from the past & embraced sharing in the modern world.

Either you can have one person (preferably man owing to the structure of the society) for 70 hours with the other person (woman) being forced to take up supporting duties OR you can have two people (man & woman) work for 100 hours (50 hours each) with ensuring work-life balance and presence of both a mother and a father in a child’s life with the opportunity to witness their child’s growth to both the parents. Prime minister Modi, his ministers, his beauraucrats and all the "hard working" ones you mentioned receive great pay and benefits for the hours they chip in. Even Indian embassy was shocked with Infosys attitude. You made crores out of his work for 13 years and when he died not even a single infosys representative came to help or see his body. Finally NGO helped us to send his body back to INDIA. First you ask your son and daughter to come back to india and work for 70 hours and develop the nation. However, this requires facilitation of ease of doing business for manufacturing through well-thought-out policy interventions, not by private corporations overworking their employees.

Murthy's dismissal of work-life balance is also concerning. The negative impacts of poor work-life balance are well-documented.

It's unfortunate that a person of Murthy's stature holds such views. His proposal to recruit civil servants from business schools is also problematic, as it undermines the fair and equitable opportunities provided by the UPSC exam. A bright student from a Hindi medium college may understand the cultural nuances of India better than one from an elite business school who may be eyeing a six-figure salary at a management consulting firm.

As an influencer, it's essential he recognizes the complexities of India's workforce and social landscape. Rather than offering simplistic solutions, he should acknowledge the limitations of his expertise and experiences.
