idk what it is with these car journalists and their insistence on manual gear selectors, there is simply no demand for them because most people don't drive manual, even people who know how to drive manual don't drive manual, it's inefficient and slow, automatic transmission (whether it is DCT or PDK or whatever) will always be faster

I love this M4...The grill is actually a very impressive design style by BMW. I have to get myself one!!!

I just never understood the M4. Just like its predecessor it doesn't have the wide wheel arches the M3 had and it has two less doors. It looks less mean and is less practical. But size and overall performance stay the same. Why anyone would pick the M4 over the M3 is mind boggling to me. For me it's either an M3 or get the M2 if you want a Coupé.

I saw similar brand new one in Black color. I was bowled away by how absolutely beautiful it looked! I mean this coupe is seriously good looking.. and it is not even funny!

They changed from dct to zf due to the fact that dct wouldn't have been optimal choice for incoming m xdrive system.

Nice video but a couple comments.
The ZF tranny is one of the best out there even competing with the Porsche PDK. The 0-60 is way quicker averaging 2.8-3.3 seconds . You were spot on with the front grill looking great especially in black !

No sun roof is kinda weird

I'm sure for more pops n bangs, the emissions regulations body, police etc should be the one to blame😁

I love the grill and also on the iX . I must be different. I leave two buttons undone on my shirt. I grew up in Rome, Italy. Too much faux outrage imo.

Lack of DCT, lack of Carbon Fiber Engine Strut, Lack of climate control buttons, Ugly grill (why it looks better in black). Downgrade from previous version for sure. I had the previous one.

confused whether to go for M4 or M70

A lot don’t realize that in a design perspective, the bigger grilles make the car look shorter.

I have no problem with the grill,the performance matters

In the beginning i was impressed with the grill but over time have grown to love it,very striking and aggressive

My worried is about the turbo in long term. Not being a rich guy able to change the car every two years I'm evaluating to get one of these and owned for at least 10 years. Nowadays high performance means to push a small engine to its limit with one or two turbos. I'm wondering what is the lifespan expectation with this stress technique. Instead of the old school and long last V8. This simple fact is making me to hesitate to purchase this or a V8 (almost in phase out in the market). Any advise? or experience to share?
