HOW TO BLEND ACRYLIC PAINT on Canvas for Beginners

I wanted to paint a galaxy look. Would I use different paint colors before blending or pour different colors on top of one another?

When painting, does it need to be continues or not? Like stoping for an hour then continue painting

Good to know about the brushes. I bought some of those stiff brushes thinking that's what was needed for acrylic painting. You saved me from future aggravation. What type of brush do you recommend for acrylics?

acrylic dries too fast --cannot blend ---OILS are FAR FAR BETTER---dry slower--gives you time to teach !

Man can we use water for sharing in canvas painting

I acutally use acrilycs and usually while blending they dry out very fast and it is making it hard to blend

So is the problem the brand of the acrilycs or am i just doing it wrong

I have a thick ish flat brush. My soft brush is really small. I have streaks on my canvas,. :(

Notes:
Don't wet your paint brush too much else it'll create streaks. It should be damp.
For a cleaner blending, clean your paintbrush often. Make it damp using a cloth or sponge. Then start blending the lighter color into the darker color

This is why i like gouache 😒

The problem I have is that all of my artist grade W&N acrylics are transparent or semitransparent and have no body. It’s like painting with sour cream. I’m forced to paint in many layers. Would love to know from someone if other brands are the same. Looking at Golden acrylic and paint qualities in the descriptions its rare to fine opaque acrylics.
