POST is not just READ, one can also use POST to READ in the case, where a huge amount of parameters that are needed for the READ request are too large to URL encode the params.

I've looked over PUT and POST moethods today and shouldn't they be the opposite for CREATE and UPDATE since you should use PUT to create things and you can also use it to update, where was POST can create but an unspecified resource. Also PUT ideompotent method where as POST isn't.
