you could have used a less ugly overdetailed pic of Maresca for the thumbnail, it's nightmare material
ОтветитьIt is way more simple than that. 3 of 4 Chelsea's goals were counter attacking plays. First yellow card for betis came about 88 minutes when it was already over. Never made a smart foul to stop counter plays. Too naive at that level
ОтветитьVery good analysis
ОтветитьThe million pounds bottle jobs finally look fo be on track😅
Ответитьyou guys actually know that it's just that palmer got tired to sick going sideways and backwards that wins the game, right?
ОтветитьAre You using a noise gate in the video? It causes horrible clipping between sentences
ОтветитьBetis had them! Chelsea made their adjustments at halftime, but Pellegrino didn't 😑 Grats to Chelsea.
ОтветитьThey couldn't keep up physically above all ...
ОтветитьGreat video mate, easy sub.
ОтветитьDelap will be a game changer for chelsea.unlike jackson missing a 1v1 in uecl final.
ОтветитьI recall your comments in the beginning of the season about Maresca going to struggle this year with Chelsea. I believe he proved you to be a great manager.
ОтветитьIt’s a trash formation with the players we’ve got. 2 away wins in 2025, if the prem wasn’t so bad this year we’d be nowhere near the CL playing like that
ОтветитьThere is no formation or strategy or plan that is completely wrong or completely correct. It depends on the skills and playing style of the players and the plan and playing style of the rival team. At this point we can sometimes notice that one team is specialized against the other despite the level of both teams. It looks like the players of the first team are swimming with the current of a river while the players of the other team are swimming against the current of the river and they're struggling to play at their form.
So lets suppose for simplicity reason that we have only 4 plans available (which is not the case at all). A, B, C and D. And the plan A is specialized against Plan B namely A>B and Plan B is specialized against Plan C , and Plan C is specialized against Plan D and plan D is specialized against Plan A. Then if you opponent plays the plan C for example then obviously you have to play plan B. But what of the opponent has read ur plan and played plan A ? ..
On the other hand if we suppose that most teams in a certain league play the plan A then obviously the Manager that plays the plan D is the most successful. That does not make him absolutely successful coz if he plays the same plan in a league where most teams play the plan C then he will fail.
Off course, Football is much more complicated than this mathematical explanation. But it is what makes teams like Crystal Palace defeat superior teams like Man City.
in the long run gusto needs to go!
ОтветитьIt wasn’t tactics. Betis just stopped pressing aggressively. Palmer 1v1 were impossible in the first half because he was doubled every time
ОтветитьAmorim needs to learn from this
Ответитьbut you know gusto was good under pochettino
Ответитьi think the score wouldve been much more higher and dominant if the second half lineup was starting. (colwill james and sancho)
ОтветитьIt is time to scrap this nonsense Cole Palmer as a no 10. Cole Palmer has always been more impactful for Chelsea playing down the right flank which allows him to cut into his left foot. Playing Palmer down the right flank and James as right back ensures we have 2 excellent ball players, shooters and crossers causing havoc down the right. Enzo is more effective as a 10 cos he makes does disguised late runs into the box better than any other midfielder we have, including Palmer. We have stocked this team to the hilt with wingers that have been completely ineffective, thus taking Palmer away from the playing the position where he thrives the most.
ОтветитьRodriguez - NUMBER 35, WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL 4 CHELSEA GOALS.
NO TACTICS , JUST A VERY VERY POOR SUBTITUTE. NOT PELEGRINI
FAULT, THIS IS WHAT BETIS BUDGET ENABLES.
Please Gusto should never invert again
Ответить1.5x
Ответить👍
ОтветитьBadiashile was swapped for Colwill who is better on the ball. Giving more stability in the backline.
Ответитьlmfao, the "tactical switch" was subbing off pedro "4 goals this season" neto, after which we immediately scored twice. Maresca is a moron and the team carries him
ОтветитьI am a hardcore chelsea man since 1995. And I love your tactical analysis. It seems that everytime i return to your channel, the viewers grow. Your subscribers grow. Your comments section is getting busier. Cant be more proud of being an early follower of your channel. Its come such a long way! Even the graphics are getting so much better. Keep it going! You are going to be huge!
ОтветитьI mean the 750 million difference in squad value did help to adapt during the game. Betis had lots of injuries and a whole lot of youth players on the bench, so it was nearly impossible for Pellegrini to counter act. Add the injuries during the game, the intense work in the first half and Betis was exposed. It might have been different if they were able to get another goal, but well never know. Its a title yes, but the way Chelsea celebrated was ridiculous. If you look at squad value and budget compared to all the other teams in the Conference League, its ridiculous they were even in this competition. It was the first silverware for a lot of these youngsters, but they should also realize in which spheres they are playing money wise compared to a team like Betis. Nonetheless, theyll have to improve massively in the UCL, especially because they struggled against the bigger teams in the PL. Also their time wasting wont work quite as well as it does against weaker teams in the PL.
ОтветитьChelsea are dangerous when they attack quickly. It's marescas tactics that slow down Chelsea and make them ineffective in matches. Let the kids attack, and they are unplayable.
ОтветитьMarescaliban 😂
ОтветитьGood video
ОтветитьMaresca is a tactical genius. Gusto needs to be better next year. He will get better.
ОтветитьNoni is trash. He can't play in any system.
ОтветитьGive Reece his flowers. Everyone just praising Palmer but the truth is Reece changed the game completely because his coming on completely took away Betis point of attack and also completely released Palmer. Plus he brought a calming presence to that back line and midfield. Reece should have never started on the bench.
ОтветитьMaresca because of his usual arrogance made serious selection mistakes and after was trying to pretend he did not and blamed Gusto… smh. Every team needs solidity at the back, control in the middle and balance in the transition play, and Reece brought all three of these qualities when he cane on. Give Reece his flowers. He completely changed the game.
ОтветитьThat formation was strange to the players especially cucurella who liked playing the inverted positions
ОтветитьGreat analysis
ОтветитьMalo Gusto is horrible when he plays in midfield. Just by changing Gusto with James improved everything. Gusto should stick to right back but only against lesser opposition. He is not a reliable player. Acheampong should get more minutes next season.
ОтветитьVery true
ОтветитьFatigue usually lead to mistakes
ОтветитьAnother massive point: chelsea team is fitter than betis. They covered more field, ran more and pressed more in the second half. Chelsea is a young team, averaging 24yo. and the subs did make a difference.
ОтветитьI would think it would be 3-3-4 for CFC with better defence !
ОтветитьHow is it so many supporters don't see it. I am convinced he is in over his head. Thanks for your comment. I watched him f up my team Parma in 14 games before they kicked his ass out. You can imagine my feelings when I saw him come to chelsea 😮
ОтветитьPedro Neto needs to fix into the new false nine system. This will give Enzo Maresca options in formations. Wish them all the best in the World Clup Cup finals
ОтветитьGreat video tbh.... However, I don't think there was much of a tactical difference between both halves, James coming on was great but he should probably started, up until the equalizer, Chelsea had just 2 shots on target. Palmer took the game by the scruff of the neck and that is largely why we won NOT some tactical mumbo jumbo.
ОтветитьWhat tactical switch? Reece james for gusto is just an upgrade, they were going direct more, thats mainly it. There was nothing really that this video provides that you cant just see from the game itself
ОтветитьGusto duffed it bad. Done and done.
Ответитьnice
ОтветитьJust palmer magic not maserca tactics
ОтветитьThe importance of having elite defenders is key
If that back 3 can pass and are competent shutting down counter attack at source gives the rest of the players the confidence to attach and be clinical
