Peppermint can be harmful to pets. Be careful using it. I just taught my dog to leave the area alone. So far that's all ive needed to fo.

I can't hear the difference in before and after. Sounded same to me. Soo that means the piano was completely playable when they got it.

The mice droppings is a real thing. There was an outbreak in the early 90’s which resembled Covid 19. It happened on Indian reservation. That area had received a lot of rain, which helped a certain tree to produce more nuts than usual, which in turn attracted much more mice to be present & invade homes. Well the mice left their dropping & when the droppings dried & was disturbed, it released a very dangerous airborne pathogen & adversely affected human beings’ respiratory system. A few people passed away until they figured out what it was & how to treat it came to the scientists almost instantaneously.

I like to imagine the reason mice like to hang out in pianos is because it’s like a giant opera house to them. Just imagine walking around the inside of a piano as a mouse, the sounds and ambiance would be absolutely breathtaking. Maybe mice enjoy music just as much as we do, but they don’t know how to enjoy it in a respectful way.

Where do you work out of? I got a piano sitting in my garage that I don’t wanna throw out but I just might have to. It’s dirty, out of tune, the hammers are all worn and gross. It needs a lot of help
