Moody first game back hoping thats just rust. Not condoning Deebo getting physical but his reaction and response was all of us. This comment goes towards pepper… just because you are a different unit, does not mean that others on the team cannot come up to you guys and say what’s on his mind. It’s called a team, not units. If you can’t take encouraging or harsh words from the people closest to you, then get out of the game. Moody will rebound, think about his situation and how long it has been since he kicked a field goal, in a game, with any pressure on him… after injuring his ankle. No matter the ankle, kickers need them both. If either ankle gets injured, your motion is going to be different and the individual needs some amount of time to adjust to that fact. And he will adjust to it.

Oscar Pistorius was released from prison not too long ago.. Something to think about if the 49ers are serious about getting a better kicker.

Special Teams needs to be overhaul, not just on Filed goals but punt returns it cost the team an additional 7 points for a total of 16 points against the team.

I agree that Deebo had a right to be frustrated and maybe hold Jake accountable, but I do believe Pepper held back in saying Deebo told Jake to “lock in” and that he likely didn’t say it respectfully which caused Pepper to step in. From there, Deebo’s actions were not becoming of that captains patch on his chest. Hopefully they can figure it out.
