Daryl got so nerfed S4 onwards. S1 Daryl was my favorite of the whole show. Shame they made him emo.

Honestly daryl and merle the only good characters in s1 only seasons rick goon in is s4 and 5 then he just gets trash again, overall daryl and carol the best characters in the whole show now and dog was too r.i.p seven❤😢

Darryl is possibly the best character entrance of all time on TV or movies, even though the competition is the likes of Hannibal Lector or Darth Vader. Better even than King Kong or T-Rex the sound of him breaking through the trees, and the way everybody is only thinking 'we have to tell him about his brother' and it dawns on Rick instantly this guy must be Dixon's brother. top notch direction!

Who would think that, that Carol would be the only woman alive from all the Og women in the group.
And Daryl the only man with Rick, who is alive.
He talked to much, he hated everyone and he only was Focus to his brother.
Now the only people who survived: Rick, Daryl & Carol. Its Sick.

This was the best iteration of Daryl in my honest opinion, after season 6-7 or so he just became all mumbles and grunts. Cheapened his character if you ask me.

All these years later and "you take that stupid hat and go back to On Golden Pond" might be the single greatest insult in TWD history.
