This was fun glad to be on the show im growing interested on lost records slowly i really adore the original games writing hope they can find that again with LR
As I've always said, Lost Records is more promising, even just based on the fact that Dontnod showed what they're capable of and it seems like they want to make this genre better, with new dialogue mechanics and whatnot.
Regarding the likeability of the 3 other characters in Lost Records, I think these characters WILL disagree with you, they WILL be disagreeable, that's the whole point, that's why they're developing a system in which you can interrupt them, try to voice your opinion, side with one or the other. It's already clear this game will be based on the interactions they'll have, making them be just a copy of Swann would be a huge waste of this, so I'm pretty sure they'll be all different, with different opinions and different ideals, that's the whole point. We know dontnod is a master at making these kind of characters, that's why Chloe is so flawed, she wouldn't be Chloe if she only agreed with Max, same thing with Daniel. They also cited "The Craft" as an inspiration for Lost Records so if you saw that you know what they're aiming for.
Also can we talk about the fact that Deck Nine seems to just not care about the characters in these games? Why are they making memes on their official channels about Warren beating Nathan? Those types of scenes should be horrifying not amusing and that in particular is meant to show that violence is not the answer and it doesn't anything. I feel like they just don't respect what Dontnod did and are using these characters like a mascot, just using their popularity for money. Idk
Also why are they trying to get a Fortnite collaboration on twitter? Is Max Caulfield shooting people really what we want to see after the whole tragedy in the first game?
There does need to be a space between the two games, but I have no interest in Double Exposure at all. Hopefully the bad taste DE is going to leave in everyone’ mouth will be gone by the time Lost Records rolls out. It’s too bad that Lost Records couldn’t release first.
