How does the Hellcat compare?

I’ve have an LCP and an LCP Max and I have never heard about reliability issues.

At 9+ oz plus 10rds, ya can't go wrong!✌️

The LCP Max isn't reliable?? HMMM? Mine has been nothing but reliable and its a great shooting gun, feeds everything I put thru it. I'm a biker and I can't put my motorcycle gloves thru the SW-BG, but I can easily in the LCP Max cus of the larger trigger guard. I have boxer knuckle/arthritis and the slide is much easier to rack especially with the ears on the back of the LCP Max. If I do buy the SW later when the price comes down It'll only be to have another placement gun, but I will not part with my LCP Max ever.

Issues with mine thus far. Racking 12 round into chamber, it doesn't feed into chamber. Gets stuck. Lock slide back. Pull out magazine. Bullet flies out of ejection port across the room. Racking into chamber manually doesn't work with 12 round mag. Have to rack fast and hard with 10 round to avoid this problem. Also dry firing, sometimes trigger pull hits sticky point. Going to copy paste this in other 2.0 videos

That’s a small trigger guard…

As an older person in my fifties I am regularly amused by the constant complaints about trigger pull. In a self defense situation with adrenaline pumping, NO ONE is going to be focused on pull weight, tactile reset, or audible ANYTHING, since they won't hear anything but ringing in the ears after the first shot. I am not trying to be overly critical and I like the reviews by hammer striker. Everyone does the trigger thing and I don't think it will translate into real world defensive situations I started on revolvers though, and DA/SA autos. I own polymer striker fired pistols, but just find them different, not superior.

Nice introduction. I've heard good things about initial impressions and range time. I love the 380 resurgence! Now maybe ammo prices will drop a bit. On my buy list.

I keep hearing that the original came out in 2014, but I purchased a 380 bodyguard with integrated laser in 2004.

I'm hoping to find a used original Bodyguard for a good price now, I've always liked them. I dont mind the heavier trigger for a pocket gun, it just needs practice.

Trigger feels like a nerf blaster. Light, but "feels" retarded dry firing.

i got the P365X 9mm and while its a mico 9mm and very small, ts still bigger and heaiver than this Body guard 2.0
i am really considering this gun

Shoot ability is great, but will it print more in my pocket.

i was detained here by mistake for 6 years back in 2010's. we ate nothing but bacon, eggs, steak, shrimp, corn, cheese, butter, hambugarm, chciken, cheese, butter, hotdog

This is easily pocket, inside waste band carry in summery states. To be honest, civil defence 50gr 380 pills, goes thru car doors and still expands insanely, do a lot of damage so it will go thru multiple layers in winter. 10+1 is more than enough, all asasaults on average need 3-5 shots, and ends in few seconds, within 10 feet distance. Now put good ammo, practice a bit, and those shots needed drop to 1-2. Just double tap in chest and threat is gone. Use underwood, bufallo bore, or best civil defense and you golden.

Can you hold it up to the original Bodyguard to compare the size like you did the others? Ive noticed that NOBODY is doing this. Is there a legal reason with S&W?

The BG 2.0 is a thing of beauty!

It’s nice to see lightweight .380s made to high standards like the P380 and Glock 42 again. These are most likely what will be used in a defensive situation.

I never owned a 38, and BG2.0 is on my list

you placed all the guns except the M&P Bodyguard over the 2.0 for size comparison....when you do the in depth can you address the safety aspect of new striker fired trigger vs the long heavy hammer fired trigger on M&P Bodyguard....remember how many cops shot themselves with glocks years ago ? Will S&W continue making the M&P Bodyguard for those that want single stacked thinness and like the hammer fire trigger ?

Ummm wish you would have placed the old BG next to the new so we could visually see the size difference.

If my P365-380 wasn't ultra reliable, this would be my choice.

Many reviews out and this one is nice. But no one has compared it to the original Shield or Shield EZ for size. This new one still wins in mag capacity.

I would argue it isnt a better trigger. It is a different rrigger for a different use. The DA trigger is better for pocket and appendix carry.

Why not the Kimber? The Kimber is 9 mm in a subcompact. Great Gun great gun to conceal. Every day carry. I have it and I love it.😎

I guess I was one of the few people that actually liked the DAO of the old design. I liked that I could throw it into a pocket or clipped toy pants and not have to worry about the trigger.

What a great time to be alive. So many really good innovations, creating a lot of good options for conceal carry.
